TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The historic Powerball jackpot was finally claimed Saturday night, with two lucky winners in Missouri and Texas.

The final jackpot reached an impressive $1.787 billion, making it the second largest ever recorded, just behind a $2.04 billion win by a California player in 2022. The winning numbers for Saturday night’s draw were 11, 23, 44, 61, 62, and the Powerball number 17.

The two winners will split the prize evenly and have the option of either an annuitized prize of $893.50 or a lump sum payment of $ 410.30 million.

While only two individuals managed to secure the top prize, countless others walked away with cash prizes. Powerball reported that over 9.9 million tickets resulted in a win on Saturday night.

Among the fortunate winners is an individual in Tampa Bay, as Powerball confirmed a $1 million ticket was purchased in New Port Richey. This ticket was obtained at Circle K #7065, located at 5337 Little Road.

This jackpot cycle was also noteworthy for an additional reason. The prize accumulated to such a high amount because there hadn’t been a winning ticket drawn since May 31, 2025. According to Powerball, the 42 draws it took before finding a winner set a new record for the longest duration without a jackpot winner.

If Saturday wasn’t your lucky night, don’t fret. The Powerball jackpot resets on Monday with a $20 million prize.
