A sneaky video of Zoë Kravitz and Harry Styles walking arm-in-arm in Italy this weekend sent shockwaves around the globe.
One reason this situation seems complicated is that the romantic outing took place only a few days after the 36-year-old actress was seen getting close with another major star, Austin Butler.
In an exclusive video from the Daily Mail, Kravitz and fellow actor Butler, 34, were observed enjoying drinks, sharing hugs, and leaning in close while spending time at a bar in Paris following the premiere of their new film, Caught Stealing, in which they both appear.
However, an inside source shared with the Daily Mail that while Kravitz and Butler did become ‘friendly’ during their time working on the movie, there was nothing romantic between them.
The source further explained that Kravitz is drawn to 31-year-old Styles’s ‘effortlessly cool’ demeanor, which ‘reminds her’ of her father, musician Lenny Kravitz.
‘Zoe and Austin are just really good friends despite all the rumors that they were anything more,’ the insider explained.

Kravtiz has certainly had a colorful dating history full of big stars and leading Hollywood men. She’s seen earlier this month
‘They became friendly through their collaboration and nothing beyond that… although people hope for more, it’s just not the case. Austin is focused on his path and doesn’t concern himself with any relationship Zoe is in or may enter; he’s completely okay with it. His interest lies in seeing the fans’ reaction to their film.’
On Styles, the insider added: ‘Zoe is attracted to musicians, but she is also attracted to Harry because he is really cool. He’s really cool without trying.’
On Monday, a source claimed that, as well as the Italy walkabout this weekend, the two were spotted kissing at a London restaurant last Tuesday, according to The Sun.
Our insider added that the former One Direction member is certainly open to seeing where things go, adding that they wouldn’t be surprised if he falls for the actress quickly, as many have in the past.
Over the years, Kravitz has been linked to a slew of famous faces, including Noah Centineo, Channing Tatum, Penn Badgley, Drake and Chris Pine.
‘Harry is interested in seeing where this goes. It is very easy to fall for Zoe,’ the insider dished.
‘She is beautiful and so unique a person that you just want to know more and more about her, and that is mesmerizing for everyone who meets her.
‘In so many of her past relationships, men fell in love with her very fast, so it wouldn’t be surprising if Harry find himself in the same situation.’
But while it certainly seems like there’s potential for Styles and Kravtiz’s relationship to grow, our insider added that, as of now, it’s ‘not anything official.’
‘If this becomes anything more than a date here and there, we will know almost immediately, but they aren’t broadcasting anything yet because it is not anything official,’ the source said.
‘They are just having fun and seeing where it all goes. They are both in a headspace of wanting to be in a relationship, and hopefully this is one that will work out.’
The Daily Mail has reached out to Styles, Butler and Kravitz for comment.

Before that, she was engaged to actor Channing Tatum. They had started dating in 2021, after bonding on the set of her film Blink Twice, and announced their plan to marry in late 2023.
But in October last year, it was revealed that they had called off the engagement.
Kravitz was also previously married to actor Karl Glusman. They got together in 2016 and tied the knot in 2019, but Kravitz filed for divorce in 2020.
In 2015, she briefly dated musician George Lewis Jr., also known as Twin Shadow – and before that, she had a three-year romance with Gossip Girl star Penn Badgley.
She also once confessed in an interview to ‘hanging out’ with rapper Drake.
