This is your warning to take note of this weekend’s Sunday Premier League fixture between Liverpool and Manchester City as it is far from the normal 2pm or 4:30pm kick-off times.

Liverpool vs Manchester City is the most anticipated Premier League game this weekend as a victory for either side would open the door ever so slightly for them to go on and lift the Premier League trophy.

Although the League has a long way to go, the winners of this tie could have a massive impact on the title race.

The last time the two faced off against each other it ended in a 1-1 draw.

Liverpool vs Manchester City will kick-off at an unusual time of 3:45 as both teams eye a win which would take them top of the Premier League table

What time is Liverpool vs Man City

This weekend’s Super Sunday clash between League leaders Liverpool and second place Manchester City is set to kick-off at 3:45pm UK time.

Why is Liverpool vs Man City being played at that time?

The reason for the bizarre kick-off time is related to fan safety and has been influenced by Merseyside police.

Sunday afternoon fixtures are usually penciled in the fixture diary for 2pm or 4pm but a newly created kick-off time was given for this top of the league clash largely due to what has happened in the past when these to sides have met.

It is understood that the Merseyside police wished for an earlier kick-off time at Anfield due to fears over fan safety.

The past few seasons has seen numerous problem’s arise between the two clubs’ supporters.

Some of the worrying actions which has happened between the two side’s include damage to team buses, missiles thrown and cases of tragedy chanting.

An earlier kick-off was decided to try and help combat these problem and ensure fan safety.

This isn’t the first time a fixture has been changed to try and combat fan troubles.

The reverse fixture between the pair back in November at the Etihad had a 12:30pm kick-off for the same reasons.
