Bosch: Legacy is in the books, but the Bosch universe continues to expand with Prime Video’s highly anticipated spinoff series Ballard.
Inspired by Michael Connelly’s Ballard novels, the series focuses on Renée Ballard (Maggie Q), a detective assigned to handle LA’s toughest, long-neglected crimes after assuming control of the LAPD’s new and underfunded cold case division.
According to Amazon, “As she digs into layers of crimes spanning decades, including a string of murders by a serial killer and a murdered John Doe, she soon reveals a dangerous conspiracy within the LAPD. With assistance from her volunteer team and retired detective Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver), Detective Ballard maneuvers through personal trauma, professional hurdles, and life-threatening situations to unearth the truth.”
Also featuring Courtney Taylor, John Carroll Lynch, Michael Mosley, Rebecca Field, Victoria Moroles, Amy Hill, Ricardo Chavira, Noah Bean, Alain Uy, and Hector Hugo, all ten episodes of Ballard Season 1 are set to premiere on Prime Video. Here’s how to stream this exciting new series online.
