Ben Affleck has concocted another Super Bowl commercial for Dunkin Donuts, this time featuring a cast of iconic 90s television stars.
A self-proclaimed Dunkin enthusiast, Affleck shares the screen with Friends celebrities Jennifer Aniston, 56, and Matt LeBlanc, 58, as well as Seinfeld veteran Jason Alexander, 66, in this latest coffee brand advertisement.
A sneak peek of the ad, unveiled on Sunday, captures Affleck, 53, soliciting opinions from the trio on an unaired pilot he crafted back in 1995.
The preview kicks off just after the stars have viewed Affleck’s creation, marked with a label reading ‘Network Pilot ’95 v3.’
The seasoned actors remain silent as Affleck, blissfully unaware and upbeat, eagerly seeks their input.
“Well, any reactions, thoughts, love? Affection?” he inquires, as Aniston subtly shakes her head. “Come on, tell me. What’s trending now is cringe. I’ve got a treasure trove of cringe. Premium cringe.”

An incredulous Alexander mumbles to the other two, ‘I don’t think he directed Argo,’ referring to the filmmaker’s Oscar-winning film.
Undeterred, Affleck continues: ‘Did I tell you I destroyed this, burnt it, and disposed of all the copies? Yes I did. Good news: I lied to you.’
LeBlanc, on the other hand, was rather impressed by what he saw. ‘Can I get a copy?’ he asks.
‘No one,’ Aniston stresses with a tense tone, ‘No one can see this.’
‘Uhh yeah. It’s only going to air once,’ Affleck replies.
‘Still holds up!’ LeBlanc says.
‘Oh God, Matthew,’ an exasperated Aniston replies.
This latest ad is not Affleck’s first time starring in a Dunkin Super Bowl commercial.
Aniston and Alexander were unimpressed, but LeBlanc was intrigued by the project
Affleck was undeterred by their frosty reception and insisted ‘cringe’ was in
Aniston was adamant that his project never see the light of day
His ads have seen him form the ‘Dunkings’ band with Matt Damon and Tom Brady in a commercial with then-wife Jennifer Lopez and join forces with brother Casey Affleck, Succession star Jeremy Strong, and coach Bill Belichick the following year.
Affleck starred in the brand’s first-ever Super Bowl commercial in 2023 as well, surprising real customers coming through the drive-thru in ad that also featured JLo.
It’s been claimed that Affleck was paid close to $10 million dollars for the 2023 ad, CNN reported in February 2024.
While the eight-figure payout may seem high, an insider familiar with the two-time Oscar winner’s Dunkin’ Super Bowl campaign noted to the outlet that the company ‘sold more donuts the next day than any other day in their history.’
‘We ran it once and got 7 billion media impressions, and it kind of kickstarted the year,’ Scott Murphy, the president of Dunkin’, told Entrepreneur about the 2023 ad in January 2024.
The commercial, which was also directed, partially conceptualized and produced by Affleck, was the first time Dunkin’ ran an ad during the Super Bowl.

Dunkin’ was founded in Quincy, Massachusetts as Open Kettle in 1948, before the name was changed to Dunkin’ Donuts in 1950.
The actor, who grew up in Cambridge, MA, has been a lifelong fan of Dunkin, like many Massachusetts natives.
When Dunkin finally made its way to the West Coast, with the first Los Angeles Dunkin shop opening in 2014, Affleck revealed in a 2019 interview with Collider that he has Dunkin every day.
‘It’s amazing! I have Dunkin Donuts everyday. It’s very weird, I have it every day and people are always like, “Where is that? Is that near here?” So, I feel like I’m spreading the word,’ Affleck said.
