A man accused of imprisoning his stepdaughter for 22 years and fathering three of her children has refuted numerous allegations, including unsettling claims that he forced her to engage in sexual activities with other men.
‘The accused rejected all allegations. During interrogation at the police station, he claimed it was all untrue, asserting that his family is his priority,’ the police chief in the Brazilian town where the case is being investigated told local media.
The 51-year-old man has been detained since last week after the 29-year-old victim escaped and reported the abuse, which began when she was seven years old.
Authorities report she suffered years of sexual abuse, including being forced into intimate acts with strangers and being constantly monitored by surveillance cameras in the house.
The woman reportedly managed to break free by telling her alleged abuser she needed to visit a health clinic — but instead went straight to police.
The unnamed victim told officers she had noticed ‘strange behavior from him toward her daughters,’ reported O Popular.
Details on the behavior has not been revealed, however, she feared he would do the same thing to her daughters as he had done to her.
Her statement led police to raid a condominium in Araucária, where dramatic footage captured armed officers entering the property and apprehending the suspect.
Dramatic footage showed officers storming the property where the stepfather was arrested.

This is the moment when armed police raided a condominium to detain a stepfather accused of keeping his stepdaughter captive as a sex slave for 22 years.

Police chief Eduardo Kruger said she had been abused since the age of seven, and at 15 became pregnant by the man after he separated from her mother
Police Chief Eduardo Kruger told reporters the victim became pregnant at 16 and was forced to ‘marry’ the man after he separated from her mother.
Investigators said she had three children with him and was also forced to have sex with other men, with the assaults reportedly recorded on video.
‘He forced me to pretend that I wanted it, but the men knew I was being forced there. I lost count. There were more than 30. These episodes happened every two months, every three months,’ the victim said.
The shocking case evokes the horror that Austrian monster Josef Fritzl inflicted on his daughter for 24 years, imprisoning and raping her over and over again and forcing her to give birth to seven incestuous children.
In Brazil this week, police said the suspect monitored his alleged victim’s every move with surveillance cameras installed throughout the house and rarely allowed her to leave.
‘I was scared, very scared, I still am. He said a lot of things to me. He threatened me. He said that if I wasn’t his, I wouldn’t be anyone else’s. He said that our separation would only mean death,’ the woman told police.
While she was giving her statement, he called her more than 30 times and sent over 15 audio messages, some containing threats.
He reportedly said: ‘Go home, otherwise you’re going to have serious problems with me. What’s going on? Talk to me, otherwise I’m coming after you.’

When police stormed the home, they seized cameras and videos of the abuse stored on his mobile phone before arresting him.
He is being held in preventive detention while under investigation for seven crimes, including rape, deprivation of liberty, threats, and psychological violence.
If convicted, the combined sentences could exceed 100 years in prison.
The victim and her children have been placed in a safe location while protective measures are considered.
Fritzl’s name became synonymous with unimaginable cruelty in 2008, when it emerged he had locked his daughter Elisabeth in a hidden dungeon beneath his home in Amstetten, Lower Austria, from the age of 18.
Over nearly a quarter of a century, he repeatedly raped her, fathering seven children -one of whom died in infancy, with prosecutors arguing he was partly responsible for the death through neglect.
Fritzl was eventually convicted of murder, rape, incest, slavery and severe coercion – becoming the only person in Austrian history ever convicted of slavery.
