Gulf states face fresh missile and drone attacks
This morning, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates faced new attacks, marked by explosions and blaring sirens across the Gulf region.
According to the Saudi Ministry of Defense, two ballistic missiles were detected heading toward the capital on Monday. One missile was successfully intercepted, while the other landed in an uninhabited area.
The UAE’s defense ministry reported actively countering missile and drone threats allegedly originating from Iran. They clarified that the noises heard were from their Air Defence Systems intercepting these threats.
Earlier, Abu Dhabi officials confirmed that debris from an intercepted missile injured an Indian national.
In Bahrain, alarms sounded, prompting authorities to advise residents to find shelter.
The interior ministry used social media to urge both citizens and residents to stay calm and move to the nearest safe location.
