One recent video which received over 120,000 views was Ann sharing her wisdom with Australian singer and TikTok influencer Peach PRC, who was concerned about mould in her flat.
Ann, who suggested a desiccant dehumidifier or contacting her local council if living in a rental, thrilled users with the video, with many commenting it had been the ‘crossover they’d dreamed of’.
Her practical advice covers everything from laundry to accidents, cleaning room by room and even how to approach getting a professional cleaner to work in your home.
Speaking on her YouTube channel, Anne said: ‘You want to hire a cleaner – how do you go about it? Number one, make sure you can afford it. Most cleaners in the UK you’re looking at between £12 and £20 per hour.

She suggested choosing an agency worker, who usually charge a higher rate but are always insured, if you will be out of the house – meanwhile those at home may prefer someone local.
Ann advised working out what you want doing around the house and advising your cleaner on what needs to be prioritised.
‘Everybody would love to think you could pay your cleaner for two hours and your home will be spotless, it won’t’, she said.
‘So you have to make sure that they can do what you want them to do in the time you have allotted and you do need to ask them if you’re allowing them sufficient time.’
She has also shared helpful advice on which viral cleaning hacks to avoid, for example the TikTok trend which saw users sprinkle washing powder on their carpets to make them smell better.

Ann explained in a video: ‘I get why you are doing it, and it seems a brilliant idea but here is the thing, you are not going to get all of that powder out of your carpet.
‘Which means that you’re going to get a build-up of soap powder, which, if you have got kids, or if anyone goes on it with bare skin, it will be irritating.
‘It will make your carpet more dirty because it’s sticky, I know it smells great but please don’t use soap powder on your carpets like that.
‘If you can afford it get a vacuum extraction machine and wash them, don’t use anything with it, as there will be plenty of soap in the carpet. If you need to do it, use something like Shake and Vac or bicarbonate of soda.’
