Britney Spears has finally opened up, three weeks following her DUI arrest.

‘Thank you guys for all your support… spending time with family and friends is such a blessing !!! 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹’ the singer wrote on Instagram. ‘Stay kind !!!’

The pop icon appeared vibrant, wearing a lace blouse paired with cut-off shorts, in a home video featuring her 19-year-old son Jayden, who donned a trench coat.

In the clip, she showcased a sultry dance move beside her son as he recorded their reflection in a full-length mirror, with a staircase visible in the background.

Adopting a hint of a British accent, she remarked, “I’m composure. I’m being very composed,” before she glanced at a Cinderella glass slipper displayed on a wooden stand nearby.

This revelation follows a report from the Daily Mail, which noted that Spears has maintained sobriety since her March 3 DUI incident in California’s Westlake Village, near her luxury residence.

The publication discovered that the 44-year-old singer has abstained from alcohol for more than three weeks.

And the Womanizer singer has been attending AA meetings in the Los Angeles area with regularity.

‘Britney has been very open and honest in her AA meetings, she has said she loves pouring her heart out as she knows that is the best way to heal and feel better,’ a source told the Daily Mail.

‘The only thing she has indulged in is fancy coffee drinks. She is being super careful because she wants to be there for her kids.’

She has been spending time with her two sons, Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden, whom she had with her backup dancer ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Though the boys have lived in Hawaii, they have been by their mother’s side for the past few weeks.

‘She is very happy that they are close again, it is healing her heart, she loves her sons,’ the source added.

Alcoholics Anonymous is a global, peer-led mutual aid fellowship dedicated to abstinence-based recovery from alcoholism through its spiritually inclined Twelve Steps.

Many stars have been in AA and have publicly shared their journeys including Elton John, Robert Downey Jr, Bradley Cooper, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ben Affleck and Brad Pitt, many of whom have maintained sobriety for years.

This is not the first time Spears has been in AA.

According to her 2023 memoir, The Woman In Me, she was mandated to attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings four times a week during her 13-year conservatorship, which she described as a restrictive environment controlled by her father, Jamie Spears.

This comes just after the Daily Mail reported that she has been sober since her DUI arrest on March 3 in the Westlake Village neighborhood of California near her mansion

Spears’ representative said in early March that the singer needs ‘help and support’ after she was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

The Toxic singer was taken into custody by the California Highway Patrol at about 9.30pm on March 3 in Ventura County, with reports saying she was handcuffed on suspicion of DUI and booked early on Thursday morning at about 3am before being released around 6am.

Shortly after the news of her arrest broke, a representative for the star told the Daily Mail: ‘This was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable.

‘Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney’s life.

‘Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time.’

Referring to the two sons she shares with her ex Federline, 47, the representative added: ‘(Britney’s) boys are going to be spending time with her. Her loved ones are going to come up with an overdue needed plan to set her up for success for well being.’

Ventura County sheriff records show Britney is scheduled to appear in court on May 4.

Britney has not publicly commented on the arrest.
