JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – Johnson City Schools has announced that North Side Elementary School will remain closed for students on Wednesday to accommodate critical gas line repairs near the facility. In an email sent to parents on Tuesday, it was explained that the gas line to the school has been turned off during the repair process, leading to a lack of heating on the premises.
