A woman from Wisconsin has been charged with hiring a hitman in an alleged plot to murder her mother and stepfather, claiming they “ruined her life,” according to court documents.

Lindsey Feucht, 43, is facing two charges of conspiracy to commit first-degree intentional homicide. She appeared in Outagamie County court on Monday for a preliminary hearing related to the case, which surfaced in August.

Authorities allege that Feucht was determined to have her mother and stepfather killed and was willing to pay for the crime. According to a criminal complaint cited by local media, including Green Bay’s ABC affiliate WBAY, she unknowingly discussed her plans with an undercover informant, revealing the motive behind her drastic decision.

The complaint states, as reported by Fox affiliate WLUK, that Feucht claimed she had been “fondled” as a child and informed her mother, but no action was taken. “Feucht said she was never going to forgive her for what they did to her,” the document details.

Allegedly, Feucht told the informant that her parents needed to “pay a price” for their actions, expressing that “they’ve ruined my life.” She further detailed that a neighbor had molested her in her youth, and her mother and stepfather failed to report it to the authorities.

The investigation reveals that Feucht wanted the murders to appear “natural” and mentioned the prospect of inheritance money. Law enforcement orchestrated a meeting at the Fox River Mall in Appleton, Wisconsin, where Feucht met with an individual posing as a hitman. She is said to have offered $10,000 for each murder.

Feucht was very organized and detailed in her instructions on how the supposed hit man could complete the act, authorities said, providing him with photos of her parents and a diagram of their home and where they slept. She even reportedly described jewelry he could take to make the crime look like a burglary.

Feucht was arrested after the meeting. She is being held in the Outagamie County Jail on a $100,000 bond. Her next court date is set for Dec. 10.

Outagamie County is located in eastern Wisconsin, just west of Green Bay and Lake Michigan.
