On Friday, President Trump asserted that Cuba’s communist regime is nearing its end.

In a phone interview with CNN’s Dana Bash, he stated, “Cuba is going to fall soon. It’s unrelated, but Cuba is going to fall too.”

The president suggested that Cuba is eager to negotiate. “They are very keen on making a deal,” he said. “I’m planning to involve Marco Rubio in this, and we’ll see how that progresses. Right now, our main focus is on Iran, but we have plenty of time. After 50 years, Cuba is finally ready.”

Expressing his observations over decades, Trump remarked, “I’ve been watching the situation for 50 years, and now it seems to have landed in my lap—thanks to my efforts. We’re making significant progress.”
