Channel 4 has decided not to broadcast the episode of The Great Celebrity Bake Off For Stand Up To Cancer featuring Scott Mills.

Earlier this year, the former BBC host was announced as a participant in the popular baking tent for charity.

However, the 53-year-old broadcaster was recently dismissed by the BBC, merely days after concluding his last Radio 2 breakfast show.

The Daily Mirror reported that his termination might be linked to a 2016 investigation by police into allegations of serious sexual offenses involving a teenage boy from 1997 to 2000.

This investigation was closed about seven years ago due to insufficient evidence.

Mills’ episode of The Great Celebrity Bake Off For Stand Up To Cancer had not yet been aired, and it remains uncertain if it will ever be shown.

However, Channel 4 have now released a statement clarifying what will become of the installment.

The statement read: ‘Having carefully considered the circumstances, we’ve taken the decision not to air the final episode of the 2026 series of The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer, featuring Scott Mills.

‘Acknowledging the seriousness of the accusations that have been made against Scott, we don’t believe it would be appropriate to air the episode at this time.

‘An alternative episode of Celebrity GBBO will go out in its place.’

Elsewhere, viewers have appeared to spot episodes of Top Of The Pops, featuring Scott, who presented the series in 1999 have been removed.

Taking to X they said: ‘BBC Four are skipping the 6, 13 and 20 August editions of #TOTP, as they’re the final three presented by Scott Mills…’: ‘

‘Have they had to skip weeks of Top of the Pops 1999 because of Scott Mills? A jump from 2 July 1999 to 23 July 1999!’: ‘wonder if some BBC intern is frantically deleting old Top of the Pops eps that Scott Mills hosted’: ‘Cant wait to not see the Scott Mills editions or top of the pops!’.

According to The Daily Star, the BBC will not repeat any Top Of The Pop episodes featuring Scott.

The Sun reported that a plaque dedicated to Scott has been removed from the BBC Radio 1 studio, as well as his photos being taken down at Radio 2.

‘It’s a silver plaque which is up on a wall. It’s the studio where Greg James hosts his Radio 1 Breakfast Show from,’ a source said.

‘People in and out of the studio over the weekend noticed it had been taken down. His photographs have been removed from the Radio 2 areas too.’

Daily Mail have contacted the BBC and representatives for Scott for comment.

Meanwhile the presenter’s Eurovision 2026 replacement has been revealed as the BBC continues to remove him from TV and radio gigs.

Scott will no longer be appearing at the annual Contest, and instead will be replaced by fellow BBC Radio 2 presenter Sara Cox, according to The Sun

The BBC said it had removed all future work planned with the presenter, which includes coverage of the contest that takes place in May.

He has been one of the commentators during Eurovision’s semi-finals, which will air on BBC One in the week leading up to the final, since 2011.

Scott has most recently been joined by Rylan Clark on the shows, as well as talking listeners through the live Eurovision final on BBC Radio 2.

However, the publication revealed that Sara, 51, will instead be taking on the role, after commentating on the semi-finals during a radio show last year, alongside former show commentator Rylan.
