New ‘Ironheart’ Disney+ series collaborates with OEMC with posters on CTA Red Line.

“Ironheart” is a collaboration between Chicago’s Office of Emergency Management and Communications and Marvel Comics.

OEMC said they rolled out a special “Ironheart”-themed wrap on the CTA Red Line.

Previously OEMC has partnered with Marvel Comics to use “Ironheart” to bring preparedness information to the city.

“This comic lane is giving us a another way to give the information to people,” OEMC Senior Emergency Management Coordinator Beverly Carrington said.

The campaign features topics like reporting suspicious activity and severe weather.

“Let’s get you ready and prepared so that you don’t have to react. You are all ready for the situation,” Carrington said.

Carrington is also a superfan.

And she knows loyal Marvel watchers pay close attention when their favorites are involved.

“I get so excited. They’ll instantly recognize the characters. Once they see it, they’ll connect this particular storyline to life and understand how to apply it,” Carrington said.

Harness the superhero in case of emergency by calmly giving 911 operators important information, like car descriptions or location.

Along DuSable Lake Shore Drive or in Grant Park, you should look for the green and white pole markers that ensure first responders can reach you swiftly.

“Ironheart” is set after the events of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.” It tells the story of Riri Williams returning to her hometown of Chicago.

Williams, a young, genius inventor, has a unique take on building iron suits.

The series also stars Lyric Ross, Manny Montana, Matthew Elam, Anji White, Regan Aliyah and Alden Ehrenreich.

“Ironheart” launches on Disney+ June 24.

The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of Marvel and this ABC station.
