Leesburg House Fire Leaves One Injured in Early Morning Incident

    LEESBURG, Fla. – In the early hours of Sunday, a house fire in Leesburg led to one individual being hospitalized, as confirmed by local authorities.

    The Leesburg Fire Rescue reported that they were dispatched to a residence on Margaret Drive at approximately 3 a.m., where they discovered the second floor of the home engulfed in flames.

    Assistance in managing the blaze came from the Tavares Fire Department and Lake County Fire Rescue. Thankfully, the fire has since been extinguished.

    The release highlighted the swift action of the firefighting teams, stating, “Crews were able to make a quick stop on the fire, containing it to the area of origin.”

    At this time, no additional details have been provided regarding the incident.
