EXCLUSIVE: Comedian Steven Rogers has announced that his new stand-up special, Half of We, is set to premiere April 11 on the YouTube channel of Nate Bargatze’s Nateland.
Produced by Bargatze and fellow comedy icon Brian Regan, the new hour sees Rogers blend wit and vulnerability as he shares relatable mishaps, personal struggles, and stories from his engagement — all building to a shocking twist. He shot it at the Comedy Fort in Fort Collins, CO, with Mike Lavin directing and Adrian Kulp exec producing for Nateland. Watch a trailer above.
A NYC-based comedian who can regularly be seen performing in clubs and theaters all over the country, Rogers’ debut album/special Before He Was Super was quick to hit #1 on iTunes a few years ago. Named one of Paste’s Top 12 Best Comedy Albums of 2022 and one of Vanyaland’s Favorite Comedy Releases of 2022, the hour can be heard regularly on Sirius Radio.
In his career thus far, Rogers has opened for comedians such as Regan, Joe List, Tom Papa, Nate Bargatze and Taylor Tomlinson, with additional appearances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Late Late Show with James Corden, and Dry Bar Comedy. He recently signed to Surfdog/DKM for management.
In addition to Season 2 of comedy spotlight series The Showcase on YouTube, Nateland has numerous other stand-up specials coming up for release, after taking to YouTube to debut Aaron Weber’s Signature Dish at the end of January.
