As many as 110,000 mini beauty fridges sold by Paris Hilton have been recalled due to risks they could overheat and catch fire.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued an urgent recall for several models of the fridge on September 11.

Consumers have been warned at least 27 complaints have been filed about the mini fridges overheating and catching fire.

A shocking onslaught of one-star reviews for the product revealed just how many close calls buyers have experienced with the product.

‘Woke up to fire alarms this morning,’ one buyer wrote in a review. ‘My daughter’s mini fridge was on fire and caught her nightstand on fire.

‘Glad we were home and everyone is ok but so scary! Not worth I! We bought them for our girls for Christmas. Getting rid of them all.’

Another one star review revealed the product led to a house fire. ‘Buyer beware,’ the reviewer added.

‘Stay away, caused me $5k in damages,’ a third one-star review revealed.

‘I liked it until it lit on fire during my after work nap. Woke up to the smoke alarm screaming at me and a fire under my several thousand dollar PC.

‘Choose life. Choose a different product.’

The issue stems from the product’s electrical switch, federal regulators said.

It causes the fridge to short-circuit and overheat.

The Paris Hilton Mini Beauty Fridge line were all manufactured in China and imported to the warehouse in Boca Raton, Florida, by Epoca International.

They were then sold at Walmart, Ross Stores and online on Amazon between November 2022 and July 2025.

The recall has sparked controversy online, with dozens of memes referring to Paris Hilton’s signature catch phrase, ‘that’s hot!’

Others have expressed disbelief that they’ve been caught up in the recall.

Another weighed in, writing: ‘To the buyer: what did you think when buying a Paris Hilton fridge?’

The impacted models are the four liter and 10 liter products in pink, white, aqua and hot pink.

The dangerous 10 liter models include model number PH11887 in pink and PH11887-1 in white. Both products have serial numbers beginning with 2024.

Meanwhile the four liter models which have been recalled are the aqua in PZB02-E001, hot pink in PH12540, pink in PZP01-E001 and white in PZW01-E001.

The serial numbers for the majority of the impacted four liter models begin at 202206 through to 202406.

For the pink shade specifically, the serial numbers for the products involved go up to 20240704020.

Despite 27 incidents of the products igniting, the producer insists that no injuries have been associated with the products.

There has been reported damage to surrounding surfaces.

Products manufactured after August 2024 are not included in the recall.

Consumers who own the impacted models have been urged to unplug the fridges immediately and stop using them.

Owners have been offered full refunds, but to do so they must visit Epoca’s recall website and provide proof of purchase.

To obtain a refund, customers need to provide three photos of the recalled refrigerator, including the model and serial number label, and the severed power cord.

The serial number can be found on the bottom or at the back of the product.
