Corey Feldman finalizes divorce as he's ordered to pay six-figure sum

Corey Feldman and his estranged wife, Courtney Feldman, have officially ended their marriage, as a Los Angeles judge has approved their divorce settlement. This resolution includes a substantial financial agreement, marking the end of their legal proceedings.

Court documents reveal that Feldman, once a prominent child actor, has agreed to pay Courtney $100,000 in spousal support, as reported by TMZ. This settlement is structured to include an initial payment of $10,000 within five days, followed by bi-monthly installments of the same amount until the total is paid off.

In addition to the spousal support, Feldman will continue to address outstanding IRS debt from 2021, which he has been actively reducing, according to the court records.

Despite this financial obligation, Feldman retains several valuable possessions. These include a 2016 BMW, a 2021 Mercedes-Benz, a 2013 Coachmen Mirada motorhome, a modest amount of Tesla stock, and a treasured collection of memorabilia from his late friend, Michael Jackson.

The couple, who walked down the aisle in a grand ceremony at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on November 22, 2016, did not have any children together. Their separation marks the conclusion of their marriage, which had been filled with public attention and personal milestones.

They separated on June 22, 2023, with Feldman publicly confirming the split later that summer.

The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Feldman for additional comment.

In a statement filed with the court on November 20, the judge overseeing the case confirmed that the pair had reached a comprehensive financial resolution.

Feldman later told Us Weekly that he felt relief knowing ‘the most painful part’ of the separation was behind them.

‘I pray for everyone involved that we can move on with our lives and heal,’ the Los Angeles native said at the time. ‘Please respect my wishes for privacy regarding this matter moving forward, as I have a very full slate of exciting things in the works for next year, and that’s where my focus needs to be.’

Feldman and Courtney, a Canadian-born model and DJ, both cited health challenges as a contributing factor to their breakup.

Courtney previously revealed that her diagnosis of chronic fatigue syndrome made it difficult to keep up with Feldman’s touring lifestyle.

‘It’s been a long journey of dealing with my own chronic fatigue syndrome,’ she said in a statement, adding that despite their separation, she would ‘always cherish’ the time they shared and remained grateful for Feldman’s support during her health struggles.

At the time of their split, Feldman told NBC News that he had been voluntarily paying spousal support and intended to continue doing so regardless of a court ruling, stressing that there was no infidelity involved.

Court filings later revealed growing tension over finances.

Courtney asked the court earlier this month to increase her monthly support, arguing that the $3,500 Feldman had been paying – previously raised from $2,000 – was insufficient given the disparity in their incomes.

She cited her part-time work as a barista and Goodwill employee, while noting Feldman’s reported six-figure payday for appearing on Dancing with the Stars.

She requested $7,226 per month in support, along with retroactive payments and attorney’s fees, before the two sides ultimately reached their final agreement.

Feldman later addressed the emotional toll of the legal battle in a post on X, writing that ‘pain isn’t always physical’ and admitting that emotional and mental distress had been overwhelming at times.

A representative for Feldman previously told Us Weekly that Courtney’s requests were ‘unexpected and excessive,’ adding that the actor had continued to financially support her and maintain her health insurance since their separation.
