23-year-old woman shot in leg on NYC street

In a bustling Queens neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon, a 23-year-old woman, seemingly an innocent bystander, was injured when she was shot in the leg. The suspect responsible for the shooting is still at large.

The NYPD responded to an emergency call just before 3:00 p.m. reporting that a woman had been shot outside a building located at Wyckoff Avenue and Stephen Street in Ridgewood.
