Overdose in Township Park
Just after 2 pm, deputies responded to a report that a man had overdosed in a Mustang at Township Park. EMS and officers were dispatched to the scene, but the man left before they arrived.
Twenty minutes later, a report of a possible overdose on Lee Street came in. EMT Ohio requested assistance from the fire department but later canceled.
At 2:50 pm, a woman contacted deputies to say she had chased her drug-addled husband out of the yard. She said she believed he was overdosing and wanted an officer to find him and Narcan him. Officers were unable to locate him.
The next day at 2 pm, EMS responded to a report of an overdose at the Family Dollar in West Portsmouth. The caller said they were performing CPR on the victim. The current status of that victim is unknown.
