As New York braced for a looming snowstorm, Courteney Cox sought shelter with a dear friend at her side.
The acclaimed actress, known for her iconic role in “Friends,” was spotted enjoying an evening at a Tribeca wine bar on Friday with fellow actor Greg Kinnear. The two share a history on-screen as husband and wife in the horror-comedy series “Shining Vale,” and their camaraderie clearly extends beyond the set.
Photographs captured Cox, now 61, well-prepared for the chilly weather, wrapped in a dark jacket to ward off the cold.
Kinnear, who is 62, was also seen braving the elements in a cozy padded jacket and casual baseball cap. The following day, he was photographed wheeling a suitcase after spending the night at Cox’s Manhattan residence, indicating their long-standing friendship.
A spokesperson for Kinnear confirmed to the Daily Mail, “They are great friends and co-stars,” emphasizing the close bond between the two.
Despite the cozy evening with Cox, Kinnear’s heart belongs to his wife, British model Helen Labdon, with whom he has shared a happy marriage since 1999. Together, they have three daughters: Lily Kathryn, 23, Audrey Mae, 20, and Kate Grace, 17.

Cox has been in a relationship with Snow Patrol singer-songwriter Johnny McDaid since 2013, the same year she divorced her actor husband David Arquette, who is the father of her 21-year-old daughter Coco Arquette.
Cox and McDaid were last pictured out together attending the US Open last September.
As for her bond with Kinnear, the two pals have a long history, both on and off screen.
Most famously, they starred together as a married couple in Shining Vale, which aired for two seasons between 2022 and 2023 before being canceled.
The horror-comedy follows the story of a dysfunctional couple, Pat (Cox) and Terry (Kinnear) who trade their life in New York City and move to a 200-year-old rural home in a bid to fix fissures in their marriage after infidelity.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight in 2022, Kinnear reflected on the strange full-circle moment after nearly having shared screen time with Cox decades earlier on Friends.
Kinnear guest-starred on the sitcom during its final 2003 season in an episode titled The One with Ross’s Grant, playing Dr. Benjamin Hobart, a Nobel Prize-winning paleontologist and former flame of Ross’s girlfriend Charlie Wheeler, portrayed by Aisha Tyler.
At the time, Kinnear revealed that he never actually met Cox – who, of course, played Monica Geller – while filming in 2003 due to a scheduling change tied to the birth of his daughter, forcing him to pre-tape his scenes rather than perform in front of the live studio audience.

‘It all came rushing back to me,’ he recalled in 2022, noting that Shining Vale was actually filmed in the same Warner Bros. studio in Burbank, California, where Friends had been shot.
For her part, Cox has described her role as ‘Pat’ in Shining Vale as one of her favorites, praising the project for its layered storytelling and emotional depth.
‘This show is about a family that is trying to start over after an infidelity, and it doesn’t seem like they have a shot,’ she said in 2022.
Kinnear meanwhile joked that he was relieved his own children hadn’t watched the series, admitting his character Terry was deeply flawed.
