NSW has recorded 15,683 new cases of the virus, which is 1914 less cases than yesterdays figures.
There are 1492 cases in hospital care, with 56 requiring intensive care treatment. Eight lives were lost overnight due to COVID-related illness.
Out of the total number of new cases, 8391 were detected via Rapid Antigen Tests.
This brings the total number of active cases in Victoria to 65,466.
There are currently 356 people with COVID-19 receiving care in Victorian hospitals, with 16 of those in ICU. One person has died from a COVID-19 related illnesses.
The state has had one COVID-related death overnight, with 500 people in hospital with the virus and 15 of those under intensive care treatment.
The state holds almost 60,000 active cases of the virus.
A drop from yesterdays 6,566 cases.
Another two people have succumbed to the virus in WA, adding on from the three historical deaths the state saw yesterday.
The total number of patients in hospital across the state is 234, with 10 of those in intensive care units.
The state now has a total of 43,991 active cases of Coronavirus.
