Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez have announced their engagement, with Georgina sharing a picture of her impressive diamond ring on Instagram this Monday.
The Portuguese footballer, 40, finally popped the question after nine years together, following months of engagement speculation.
Confirming their engagement, the Argentine-Spanish model, 31, wrote: ‘Yes I do. In this and in all my lives.’
Up until now, Georgina has worn a different diamond ring, but the couple were understood to have not been engaged during this time.
Speculation about their engagement began last month when Georgina posted images of a bridal-themed dinner featuring ‘D heart G’ pillows, a six-piece band, and beautiful white flower arrangements.
She also wore a giant sparkler on her wedding ring finger, hinting at the pair’s secret engagement.

Georgina and Ronaldo’s celebrity pals congratulated the pair on their engagement in the comments.

Only last month, Ronaldo shared the brutal reason behind why they aren’t married.
He said on Netflix: ‘I always tell her, “when we get that click.” Like everything with our life, and she knows what I’m talking about.
‘It could be in a year or it could be in six months or it could be in a month. I’m 1000% sure that it’ll happen.’
The couple, who started dating in 2016, have two daughters—Alana, seven, and Bella, two. Georgina also plays the role of stepmother to Cristiano’s three other children.
In an interview for her Netflix reality show I Am Georgina, the model told how she has been teased by friends over when she will get married.
Georgina remarked: ‘They’re always teasing about the wedding, asking, “When is it?” Ever since Jennifer Lopez’s song “The Ring Or When” was released, they began singing it to me. But this decision isn’t mine to make.’
Even though they aren’t married, Ronaldo has frequently referred to Rodriguez as his ‘wife in the past’.

In December, during the 2024 Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai, Cristiano expressed: ‘It’s a tremendous honor to receive this award. My eldest son is present, and so is my wife [Georgina].’
And in a game of Mr. and Mrs. on his YouTube channel back in late August, he gave her the same title.
In the same video, the couple also appeared to be wearing wedding rings.
Following the surprise title, another video resurfaced, where he casually called Georgina his wife whilst discussing his morning routine.
Speaking on the WHOOP podcast, he said: ‘I take my coffee when I start my day. It’s my routine..in the morning, I take my coffee, speak with my kids, with my wife and start the day.’
With Ronaldo plying his trade in Saudi with Al-Nassr, the couple reside in the capital Riyadh.
