Following the closure of one of her late husband’s television production companies, Dave Myers’ widow is expected to receive a substantial financial benefit. According to documents filed with Companies House, Liliana, a therapist, will receive £1,589,421 after voluntarily liquidating Sharpletter Ltd., a company once owned by the beloved Hairy Biker.

The assets of Sharpletter Ltd. included £1,383,989 in cash, directors’ loans amounting to £198,739, a £29,384 tax refund, and £2,001 in investments. In total, the company’s assets valued at £1,614,113, were reduced after accounting for the £15,566 expenses involved in finalizing the liquidation and settling remaining debts.

Following the death of Dave Myers in February 2024 at the age of 66, Liliana was named the sole shareholder of the company. Myers, who earned fame as one half of the culinary duo known as the Hairy Bikers, tragically succumbed to cancer after a courageous two-year battle.

The total value of assets came to £1,614,113, but the sum was reduced due to the £15,566 cost to close the business and to pay off all of the firm’s remaining debts.

Liliana was named as the sole shareholder of the company following Dave’s death in February 2024, aged 66.

The Hairy Biker, who was best known as part of a cooking double act with Si King, passed away following a two-year battle with cancer.

Liliana bravely revealed to the Daily Mail last June about her late husband’s grueling battle with the disease.

In a touching article, she told how Myers had struggled to come to terms with his diagnosis.

The side effects of his ‘very aggressive’ chemotherapy treatment were ‘debilitating and ugly’, too, she said.

Liliana added: ‘It got to the point he was too ill to speak. He had sores in his mouth and was suffering such severe nerve damage in his hands that he had to wear gloves.

‘He had it in his legs, too, which affected his balance and ability to walk. I remember Si picked us up from the hospital one day and was truly shocked at the state of Dave.

‘Losing his hair as a result of the chemo was incredibly painful for Dave, especially as he had suffered from alopecia as a young man. He was so proud of his hair once he had it back. He felt it gave him an identity, so losing it all over again was a sore cross to bear.’

Dave found it ‘difficult to love himself when he looked in the mirror’, Lilana said, as ‘he felt reduced to being only a cancer patient, stripped of his image, identity and personality, and with a face he didn’t recognised’.

‘He thought he was hideous with no hair, no eyelashes and heavily stained teeth from chemo,’ she said.

‘He’d lost a lot of muscle mass which meant his skin sagged, the neuropathy in his hands and feet made them unbearably achy, and some fingernails and toenails had fallen off. He found himself repellent.’

The beloved chef spoke before his death of the incredible toll his illness took on Liliana, saying that his health battle had been ‘all-encompassing’.

She spoke of her devastation in the days after he died – thanking his devoted fans and saying she was ‘grieving with a whole nation’.

Liliana, who moved to the UK in 2007 to be with Dave, has spoken openly about her journey with grief after suffering the loss of her husband.

Last year, she told how she had found who she was without her late spouse, which she spoke about in her memoir, Dave & Me.

The therapist has admitted she felt ‘alien’ when she moved to the country and leaned on Dave for support, ‘loving and caring for him and his career’.

She shared picture at the time of herself holding a hard copy of her new book, and wrote: ‘I moved homes, countries, changed languages and learned to live a completely different life… all for a man.

‘I found myself feeling alien at times, inadequate, not good enough and never had a voice…I wrapped myself around him, loving and caring for him and his career. Then, my man died.

‘All of the sudden everything I knew to be comfortable and familiar around collapsed.

‘Same time with grieving for my loss, I had to find who I was. And I had to learn to dig deep and recall my strengths, my values, my voice…

‘In this painful and transformative process, my voice appeared, at first shy and insecure. Then stronger.

‘I wrote a book! Today I received my first hard copy and I’m proud of myself! It’s a book about love, loss and resilience. My book! Yes I f***ing can!!!’

Part of Lilian’s journey has been learning to ride a motorcycle, something she didn’t have to do before because Dave would always drive the bike.
