Fans of the Paramount+ drama Landman went wild over the season two trailer on Thursday.
Demi Moore, 62, stunned in character as oil executive Cami Miller, with the teaser showing her in a more prominent role than previously seen.
Fans were let down that the Golden Globe-winning star didn’t appear much in the first season of the series from Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan.
However, after the finale’s events unfolded with Monty Miller (played by Jon Hamm) passing away, Cami takes a leading role, teaming up with Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton) to lead M*Tex Oil.
“We love Landman!” a fan exclaimed on Paramount+’s Instagram post. “It was confusing why Demi Moore received top billing during the first season despite having a limited role and few lines.”
Someone else added, ‘So glad Demi’s role in this season seems to be more center stage.’

“Maybe the writers planned this trajectory for season 2, or perhaps they listened to the feedback from critics and viewers wanting more of Demi’s character this season,” the commenter speculated.
The social media user, posting under the handle @mateobernabefierros, continued, ‘If so, I’m glad they listened, especially since she’s a legend, icon, and a great actress. Plus, after her huge comeback from last year, they needed to give her more.’
