A property in Brentwood, priced at £1.6 million, has sparked curiosity online, with many people debating whether it’s a residence or a leisure complex. Some have even dubbed it ‘the quintessential Essex home.’
This unique three-bedroom bungalow boasts an impressive array of amenities, including a professionally crafted basketball court, a gym, a swimming pool, and a sauna, all designed to resemble a pleasure barge.
Adding to its allure, the outdoor hot tub prominently displays the initials ‘Goat,’ an acronym for ‘Greatest of All Time.’
The garden is a tropical haven, featuring palm trees alongside a vibrant pink pool table, statues of a giraffe, elephant, and pandas, and vivid aqua blue and green lighting that illuminates the nights.
An exterior office bears a sign reading ‘Handsome Devils Club,’ alongside an image reminiscent of Leonardo DiCaprio’s character, Jordan Belfort, from The Wolf of Wall Street.
The masterminds behind this imaginative creation, a couple who prefer to remain anonymous, are both interior designers who meticulously planned and customized the property to suit their vision over several months.
The pair will be moving to somewhere which will be even more ‘eye-catching’ and ‘out there’.
One neighbour said: ‘They both have amazing styles. It’s outrageous, in a good way, I think. It’s really out there.
