Dolly Parton’s late husband Carl Dean’s will was revealed amid rumors that she is going through a health scare.

Just over a year following the passing of her husband of almost sixty years, who died at the age of 82 in March, it emerged that he bequeathed his entire estate to the renowned country singer.

According to newly released documents obtained by Us Weekly, the will was originally signed in 2013 and covered his personal property, which included items tied to his beloved wife’s iconic music career.

The items included but were not limited to costumes, photos, cars and other paraphernalia.

In his will, Dean also mentioned there may be a handwritten note outlining where specific personal items should be given in the event of his passing.

If that note is not located, Parton, 79, will be responsible for distributing those possessions herself. She has also requested to be appointed executor of his estate.

Parton and her late husband’s love story is a decades-spanning one, that dates back to the 60s.

They had met outside of a Nashville laundromat in 1964 when the then-aspiring singer was new to town.

Just two years after meeting, they tied the knot.

They later renewed their vows for their 50th wedding anniversary in 2016.

The music icon would mention their love story, describing her husband as her biggest fan, in spite of his preference to avoid the spotlight.

Dean’s will being released comes just shortly after the singer shared a social media post to address concerns about her health amid ongoing fan speculation.

Earlier this week, she posted a video to clear up conflicting reports about her health condition ever since she canceled several public appearances.

She was sitting in front of a green screen while on set in her video filmed and posted on Wednesday.

In the clip, she spoke directly to her fans.

‘I wanna say something,’ she began. ‘Well, today’s October the 8th, and obviously I’m here, doing some commercials for the Grand Ole Opry, which is why I’m dressed kinda like a country Western girl.

‘But before I got started, I wanted to say…I know lately, everybody thinks that I’m sicker than I am…do I look sick to you? I’m working hard here!’

The Jolene singer continued: ‘Anyway, I wanted to put everybody’s mind at ease — those of you that seem to be real concerned, which I appreciate. And I appreciate your prayers because I’m a person of faith. I can always use the prayers for anything and everything.

She continued: ‘But I want you to know that I’m okay. I’ve got some problems as I’ve mentioned.’

Then, she explained that she has been getting ‘a few treatments here and there’ since she ‘didn’t take care’ of herself while mourning her businessman husband following his death.

‘Back when my husband Carl was very sick…that was for a long time and then when he passed, I didn’t take care of myself so I let a lot of things go that I should have been taking care of,’ she explained.

‘Anyway, when I got around to it, the doctors said, “We need to take care of this. We need to take care of that.” Nothing major, but I did have to cancel some things so I could be closer to home, closer to Vanderbilt where I’m having a few treatments here and there, but I wanted you to know that I’m not dying.’

She then mentioned that seeing a shocking, altered image that made her want to shut down the rumors.

‘Did you see that AI picture of Reba [McEntire] and me? Woo, lordy, I mean, they had Reba at my deathbed. And we both look like we need to be buried…I thought, oh my Lord, if I was really dying, I don’t think Reba would be the one at my deathbed,’ she laughed.

‘She might come visit me earlier, but anyway,’ she added. ‘There’s just a lot of rumors flying around. But I figured if you heard it from me, you’d know that I was okay.

‘So anyway, that’s what I wanted to say. And I’m not ready to die yet. I don’t think God is through with me, and I ain’t done working,’ she concluded. ‘So I love you for caring, and keep praying for me.’

Her post comes after Parton’s younger sister Freida shared a status update on Facebook asking for prayers for the country star amid health challenges.

After her post made headlines, Freida shared another post to address the growing concern about her sister and said she ‘didn’t mean to scare anyone or make it sound so serious.’

She explained that her older sister had been feeling ‘a little under the weather.’

Parton canceled her December performance in Las Vegas after she was also forced to miss an event at her Dollywood theme park in September.
