President Donald Trump granted a pardon to reality TV personalities Todd and Julie Chrisley on Tuesday, directly informing their daughter Savannah of the decision via phone call.

The Chrisleys, known for their show Chrisley Knows Best and its various spin-offs, were convicted in 2022 for swindling $30 million from banks.

Julie Chrisley is serving time in Kentucky, while Todd Chrisley is serving time in Florida.

White House staffer Margo Martin announced the pardon by sharing a video of the president’s conversation with Savannah, cleverly captioned: ‘Trump Knows Best!’ as a nod to the couple’s popular reality show.

While pushing for a pardon, 27-year-old Savannah has become a fixture in MAGAworld.

She attended the 2024 Republican National Convention and the 2024 Conservative Political Action Conference – both events where Trump was the headliner and aides and allies were everywhere.

Chrisley appeared on the sidelines of last month’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

The lobbying effort paid off when Savannah received a call Tuesday from the Oval Office.

‘That’s a terrible thing, that’s a terrible thing,’ the president told Savannah. ‘But it’s a great thing because your parents are going to be free and clean and I hope we can do it by tomorrow, is that OK?’

Julie was supposed to serve time at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky until January 2028.

Todd’s prison sentence kept him locked away at FPC Pensacola until April 2032, according to the Palm Beach Post

‘I don’t know them, but give them my regards,’ Trump also said. ‘Wish them a good life.’

Savannah can be heard on the phone thanking the president and telling him her brother Grayson was on the line too.

Grayson, a student at the University of Alabama, piped up, ‘Mr. President, I just want to say thank you for bringing my parents back.’

‘Yeah, well, they were given a pretty harsh treatment from what I’m hearing,’ Trump said.

In a statement obtained by the Daily Mail, Savannah said she had spent the past two and a half years trying to secure her parents’ freedom.

‘This moment is the answer to countless prayers, and I am beyond grateful to President Trump for seeing the truth and restoring my family,’ Savannah said Tuesday night.

‘This administration does not hand out favors,’ she continued. ‘It examines the facts and stands up for what is right.’

Savannah also thanked Alice Marie Johnson, who was captured in the Oval Office standing alongside Trump, when he called the reality starlet to let her know her parents were receiving a pardon.

Johnson was serving life in prison for a non-violent drug offense when Trump granted her clemency in June 2018, at the urging of another reality television star, Kim Kardashian.

Trump granted Johnson a full pardon after she delivered a speech at the Republican National Convention in support of him in 2020.

He named Johnson the Trump 2.0 administration’s ‘pardon czar’ in February.

‘I also want to thank Alice Marie Johnson for her unwavering support and our attorney, Alex Little, for being an essential part of this process,’ Savannah said.

‘Today is a victory for our family, but the fight against wrongful convictions and injustice within our prison system is far from over,’ she continued. ‘I will continue to use my voice and platform to advocate for those who do not have one.’

‘Family is everything to me, and I will never stop fighting for what is right,’ Savannah said.

Trump had nothing on his public schedule for Tuesday.

He’s used his pardon power recently.

On Monday, Trump pardoned a former Virginia sheriff who was to serve time for a cash-for-badges scheme.

The sheriff, Scott Jenkins, had been a Trump supporter, visiting the White House during the president’s first term and was utilized as a surrogate in Virginia on the campaign trail.

‘This Sheriff is a victim of an overzealous Biden Department of Justice, and doesn’t deserve to spend a single day in jail,’ Trump posted to Truth Social Monday afternoon.

Late last month, Trump pardoned Paul Walczak, who pointed out that his mother had raised millions for the Trump campaigns on his pardon application.

Walczak pleaded guilty of tax crimes days before the 2024 election and filed a pardon application shortly after inauguration.
