POWERBALL billionaire Edwin Castro has been spotted vaping on a night out with a mystery woman while in the throws of a lawsuit over the $2 billion win.
Castro, 31, won a record-setting Powerball jackpot of $2.04 billion in February 2023, and had tried to stay out of the public eye until he was sued for his winnings.

Jose Rivera claimed he bought the winning ticket only to have it allegedly stolen by his former landlord, Urachi F “Reggie” Romero, and cashed in by Castro.
While the lawsuit is still in litigation, Castro has built a luscious life, purchasing mansions and dining in A-list restaurants.
The Powerball winner was spotted at Sushi Park in California on Saturday, a spot frequented by Hollywood’s elite, accompanied by a mystery woman.
The spot has gained a reputation for its A-list clientele, like Elon Musk, Beyoncé, Selena Gomez, and Taylor Swift.
Castro and the mystery woman were seen on Saturday night, laughing and gazing into each other’s eyes while making their way inside.
He wore a navy blue button-down, black jeans, and brown dress shoes showing off a teal vape which he hit throughout their conversation.
The mystery blond sported green strappy heels, a black satin off-the-shoulder dress, and an oversized black blazer.
The unassuming sushi spot is located in a West Hollywood strip mall and costs $400 per person.
VAPE BREAK
In line with his newly bought extravagant lifestyle, in mid-2023, Castro was spotted outside Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, with another mystery woman.
As they stood outside, Castro was vaping, emitting a large cloud of smoke into the air as his mystery woman used her phone.
He appeared to be using a vape similar to an aqua-colored Elf Bar Vape which usually costs around $13.98.
LAWSUIT RUNDOWN
Rivera originally filed the lawsuit in February in Alhambra Superior Court.
The plaintiff claimed he bought the ticket the day before the November 8 drawing at Joe’s Service Center in Altadena.
He also claimed that the same day, a man going by the name of “Reggie” took it; however, that man has since been identified as Urachi F. Romero, who is named as a co-defendant in court records obtained by The U.S. Sun.
According to Rivera, when he asked Romero for the ticket Romero allegedly told the plaintiff he had lost the ticket and that they could split the winnings if he eventually found it.
Rivera reportedly brought the alleged theft to the lottery commission and law enforcement.
California Lottery representative, Carolyn Becker, said previously that the lottery “has the utmost confidence in its process for doing so when it comes to the vetting process for big winners.”
“California Lottery remains confident that Edwin Castro is the rightful winner of the $2.04 billion prize stemming from the Powerball drawing in November of 2022.”
Despite this claim, Rivera has pursued legal action against Castro, Romero, and the California State Lottery Commission.
