Sir Elton John, the legendary musician, made a stylish appearance at the Valentino show during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week on Wednesday, with the unwavering support of his husband, David Furnish.
The iconic 78-year-old artist exuded elegance in a striking crimson blazer, complemented by a classic black shirt and matching trousers, as he made his way to the event.
Arriving hand in hand with David, 63, who serves as an artist manager when he’s not being Elton’s steadfast partner, the couple displayed a united front. David opted for a sophisticated look with a light grey blazer over a red striped jumper and black trousers, perfectly complementing Elton’s ensemble.
Recently, the couple celebrated the New Year with their rarely-seen sons, Zachary and Elijah, marking a joyful family occasion. Elton, despite facing the challenges of deteriorating eyesight, continued to embrace life with gusto.
The singer also made a noteworthy appearance at Donatella Versace’s lavish party to usher in 2026, proving once again that his spirit remains undimmed by life’s hurdles.
The singer, who has had a ‘challenging’ time as he struggles with blindness, attended Donatella Versace’s party to ring in 2026 in style.

Sharing an update to Instagram, Elton wrote: ‘Thank you Donatella Versace and Edward Enninful for hosting us for a fabulous New Years Eve party! A perfect way to see in 2026.’
Donatella commented: ‘I love you so so much Elton! No better way to start 2026.’
Elton has been unable to experience some of his most glitzy events over the last few months as he struggles with blindness.
Last month, he admitted the last 15 months have been ‘challenging’ amid his battle with blindness.
The legendary musician contracted a severe eye infection in July 2024 which left him blind in his right eye, with ‘limited vision’ in his left.
Elton issued a new health update on his ‘devastating’ eye sight, admitting he hasn’t been able to see, watch or read anything in over a year.

He told Variety: ‘It’s been devastating. Because I lost my right eye and my left eye’s not so good, the last 15 months have been challenging for me because I haven’t been able to see anything, watch anything, read anything.
‘I’ve had the most incredible life, and there is hope. I’ve just gotta be patient that someday science will help me with this one. Once they help me with this one, I’ll be fine. It’s exactly like the AIDS situation.
‘You mustn’t give up hope, you must be stoic, you must be strong and you must always try and batter the door down to try and improve things.’
Elton added that he has been getting treatment ever since and has seen ‘some improvements in his left eye’.
Remaining positive despite his health woes, Elton previously told The Times: ‘I can see you, but I can’t see TV, I can’t read. I can’t see my boys playing rugby and soccer, and it has been a very stressful time because I’m used to soaking it all up.
‘It’s distressing. You get emotional, but you have to get used to it because I’m lucky to have the life I have.’
He added: ‘I still have my wonderful family, and I can still see something out of here [left eye] So you say to yourself, just get on with it.’
Elton also joked in the interview that his sons have now swapped Eego and Star Wars toys for an ‘all-consuming love of rap’.
