Adam Moran, an internet sensation with a knack for conquering massive eating challenges, has amassed a following of 6 million subscribers on YouTube and reportedly earns over £5 million annually.

Despite this remarkable success, Moran, better known to his fans as ‘Beard Meats Food,’ has led a bachelor lifestyle, often crashing on friends’ couches and remaining unattached in his social life.

However, recent developments reveal that Moran is back in the dating scene after a two-year hiatus and has grown close to a new, glamorous partner.

At 40, Moran has started sharing photos with his new girlfriend on social media, even introducing her to his family, marking a significant shift in his personal life.

He first posted a touching photo of himself embracing a blonde woman in a red dress at a Manchester pub shortly after Christmas, capturing hearts online.

The couple also celebrated the New Year together, accompanied by Moran’s sister, Jenna, hinting that this budding relationship might be getting serious.

The glamorous blonde then also appeared for a third time last week in a video the 40-year-old posted of his highlights from 2025.

When approached about the new romance, Moran expressed surprise that anyone might be interested in the lovelife of ‘a no-mark internet clown’ – and joked that his dream date would be Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke – but declined to discuss his new relationship further.

However, despite his trademark self-deprecating humour, Moran’s romantic life – or lack of it – has become of great interest to his millions of fans and his tentative revelation of a new relationship saw them flood him with good will messages.

Moran, who abandoned his previous career as a banker when his YouTube videos began to take off, had been single since December 2023 when he split from his long-term partner Lindsey Wood.

He had spent 12 years in a relationship with Ms Wood – or, as she was known to his followers, ‘Mrs Beard’ – despite them never marrying. And she had regularly featured on his popular channel.

But news of their split was formally confirmed in February 2024 when both took to social media to announce they were no longer together.

A friend of Lindsey told the Daily Mail: ‘It seems Adam is finally in a relationship with a new woman. We don’t know much about her yet – though I’m sure Lindsey knows a lot more than she has so far let on…

‘But she has said she is very happy for Adam.

‘He recently turned 40 and I guess he feels ready to start seriously dating again after his breakup with Lindsey.’

Moran and his then partner had been living in a new build £300,000 three-bedroom detached house in Castleford, West Yorkshire which they had purchased together in 2019.

Lindsey continued to live there while he moved out following their split, spending a period sofa surfing with friends in the Yorkshire area – and then travelling across Britain and the US filming multiple eating challenges.

When he is in the UK, he is believed to prefer renting for short periods or taking Airbnbs and has never settled on a permanent base since leaving Castleford.

All of this seems remarkably low key for someone now thought to be making as much as £500,000 a month – based on his number of subscribers, views, advertisements and sponsorship deals.

As well as his YouTube output, Moran also hosts a podcast called ‘Breaking Beard’.

And in one recent episode, Moran revealed he receives up to 20 offers of brand collaborations each week and even turned down one offer which alone was worth £30,000.

But despite his banking background he is said to be relatively uninterested in money.

His company, Tasty Entertainment Limited, was quietly dissolved in February 2024 without filing accounts and there is currently no company registered in his name – when most individuals with similar income find it more advantageous financially to pay company rather than personal tax.

One friend said: ‘He leads a nomadic life. Given his following he must be making millions, but nobody knows for sure. Adam isn’t really into money in the way other people are and doesn’t like being pinned down by financial commitments.

‘He could easily buy a very nice place for himself but likes to be free and do his own thing because he’s an unconventional guy. That’s just who he is and that’s why people love him.

‘But I guess that might finally change if he is in a serious relationship again.’

Following his split from Lindsey, Moran had even revealed he had been technically homeless for a period of several weeks.

Moran later told his followers in 2024: ‘I’m no longer homeless. A lot of people have been worried about me, worried about my well-being.

‘I now have a house – which I don’t own – but I live in it, so I have a roof over my head. And things are looking up, I think.’

The friend of his ex went on: ‘Adam and Lindsey both just wanted different things. Lindsey’s very content with her life and has even dated a few guys but nothing too serious.’

Another friend of Lindsey told us: ‘She and Adam had been together a long time, but Lindsey wanted kids and he didn’t. She wasn’t bothered about getting married, she just wanted children and to settle down to have a family.

‘But Adam had made it clear that he didn’t want the responsibility of children, so they decided to go their separate ways. He’s always been a free spirit. The split was amicable, they still speak from time to time and Lindsey also remains good friends with Adam’s sister.’

Adam’s sister Jenna – who he’s nicknamed ‘Sister Beard’ on social media – has now met his new girlfriend too, as her brother’s Instagram feed revealed.

The image was accompanied by the song Sex by The 1975, sparking heated speculation among fans.

One wrote: ‘Adam, you can’t simply post a picture of you and a pretty lady without context now can you? Spill the beans.’

A third fan posted: ‘You both look like a lovely couple mate – good luck’ while another added: ‘Hopefully a new lady for the bearded man!’

Moran was working as a stockbroker for Halifax when he launched his Beard Meats Food YouTube channel in 2015.

He is now one of the most popular food personalities in the world thanks to his mammoth feasting feats – and is ranked in the top 20 among the world’s competitive eaters.

Moran’s extraordinary eating performances include devouring 17 McDonald’s Big Macs in under an hour, 155 McDonald’s chicken nuggets in under 40 minutes; and a pizza weighing seven pounds in under 25 minutes.

He described finishing the self-described ‘Octuple Bypass Burger’ at the ‘Heart Attack Grill’ in Las Vegas – which contains 20,000 calories, enough to provide his recommended daily intake for over a week – as ‘my toughest ever burger challenge’.

All this has earned him a cult-like following and generated millions of views on social media.

In addition to YouTube, he also boasts 1.5 million Facebook followers and 1.4 million on Instagram.

He has also had a string of chart hits with novelty Christmas songs to raise tens of thousands of pounds for The Stroke Association charity.

These comedy food-themed tracks, with titles like ‘I want Chicken Wings’ and ‘I Got Cheesecake’, have all reached the top 20 of the singles chart.

Despite becoming renowned for the vast amount he can eat at a single sitting, Moran’s physique completely bucks expectations: Moran, who is 5ft 11in tall, weighs in at just ten and a half stone.

He is a qualified fitness instructor and still regularly works out at the gym for two hours per day.

And when not participating in food eating challenges or competitions – which generally involve junk food – he maintains a strict healthy eating regime with a diet low on carbohydrates and high on protein and fresh fruit and vegetables.
