In a developing legal battle, Crispin Glover, widely recognized for his role in “Back to the Future,” faces a lawsuit from a British model who accuses him of battery. The actor staunchly refutes these claims.

According to documents reviewed by the Daily Mail, the unnamed plaintiff alleges that Glover enticed her from the UK to his Los Angeles home under the guise of offering “a home and a job.” However, she claims that upon arrival, she was expected to act as a “live-in girlfriend/sex slave.”

The 30-year-old plaintiff further alleges that Glover, aged 61, attempted to monitor and control her activities. She states that after she left the residence without his consent to attend mosque services, Glover locked her out, leaving her “homeless.”

The lawsuit details an incident where the plaintiff attempted to retrieve her cats from the property, during which Glover allegedly grabbed her by the neck and placed her in a headlock. She claims he then called the police on her and pursued a “fraudulent” restraining order.

The plaintiff maintains that the restraining order was quickly dismissed due to insufficient prosecution. She also accuses Glover of continuing a pattern of “harassment” and attempting to coerce her into a sexual relationship.

Responding to the accusations, Glover’s attorney told the Daily Mail, “Mr. Glover vehemently denies these unfounded allegations. The truth is that on March 2, 2024, Mr. Glover was the victim of an unprovoked felony assault by Jane Doe at his Los Angeles residence. Mr. Glover contacted the LAPD, who responded, conducted an investigation, and arrested Jane Doe.”

The statement continued: ‘These facts are documented by law enforcement records and by the restraining order filed by Mr. Glover against Jane Doe at that time. Mr. Glover intends to vigorously defend himself and pursue all available relief. He is confident the judicial process will expose this lawsuit as a meritless fabrication.’

Doe, whose suit made note of her having ‘autism spectrum disorder,’ said Glover first contacted her on social media in 2015 and started trying to cajole her to move to LA.

She claimed that she regarded him ‘as a friend’ at the time but that he made ‘strange advances’ towards her during their correspondence.

When they met in Dresden in 2023, he supposedly showed her Nazi memorabilia he had collected, but she was undeterred from retaining contact with him because he was dangling the prospect of a showbiz job in front of her, per her lawsuit.

Alleging she was ‘groomed’ with ‘promises of a new life,’ she said she decamped to Los Angeles in ‘early 2024’ and became Glover’s tenant at his ‘sizable’ residence in Silverlake, having given up her Europe apartment and sold many of her belongings purportedly at his urging.

Doe claimed Glover ‘expected her to be his live in girlfriend and work for him for free,’ would ‘track her whereabouts and attempt to control where she went and who she interacted with’ and would ‘discourage her from leaving the house.’

Describing herself as a ‘practicing Muslim,’ she said in her complaint that she tried to go to the mosque one day and he warned her he would lock her out if she did so.

Thinking his threat was an empty one, she went anyway, then returned and found he had indeed allegedly locked up the house with her cats and belongings inside, according to her lawsuit.

Glover, she said, was ‘angry and agitated,’ and when she tried to ‘retrieve her beloved cats,’ he ‘attacked her, grabbing and choking her in a headlock, leaving a visible wound and scar on her neck,’ according to her lawsuit, which includes a picture of the mark that she alleged was caused by Glover.

Glover then rang the police, ‘falsely casting her as an unlawful intruder when she was in fact a tenant who was at all points invited and lawfully residing in her home,’ per the version of events in the plaintiff’s court documents.

She described his subsequent restraining order petition as ‘malicious and fraudulent,’ adding that it ‘went viral’ to the ‘permanent’ detriment of her ‘career and reputation.’

Doe has filed suit against Glover for battery, fraud, malicious prosecution, intentional infliction of emotional distress and wrongful eviction.

She is also suing him for allegedly violating the Tom Bane Civil Rights Act by using ‘threats’ of ‘violence’ to prevent her exercising her right to come and go as she pleased, and by trying to ‘coerce’ her into a ‘captive, sexual relationship.’

Doe wants general and special damages to be determined at trial, as well as punitive and exemplary damages, lawsuit costs, attorney’s fees and further relief to be decided by the court. She has also demanded a jury trial.

Law enforcement sources alleged that Glover called the police to his Silverlake home on March 2, 2024, claiming a man and a woman had assaulted him. The insiders said the authorities responded to the report but did not arrest anyone, via TMZ.
