Justin Bieber made an unannounced appearance on stage Friday night, with his wife Hailey watching eagerly from what seemed like distant seats.

The 31-year-old pop sensation joined SZA during the Los Angeles leg of her Grand National Tour with Kendrick Lamar at SoFi Stadium, thrilling fans with a steamy rendition of their duet Snooze.

Bieber took to the stage dressed in an all-black ensemble and a Balenciaga jacket, exchanging playful verses with SZA, getting up close, and even giving her hand a few kisses as they alternated singing the chorus.

The chemistry was undeniable, and the crowd erupted the moment he appeared—his first major live performance since Coachella 2024.

Hailey posted clips of the moment on Instagram, gushing over the performance, but fans couldn’t help but notice her seat appeared surprisingly far from the stage.

Regardless of where Hailey was seated, she appeared perfectly comfortable—sporting what looked like slippers, which she showed off in a video shared to Instagram.

After the duet, Bieber lingered for a few more playful moments with SZA, closing out the song with more hand kisses and shared smiles as the two danced across the stage. 

This comes after Hailey appeared to focus on the positive Thursday as she celebrated her son Jack—despite a string of eyebrow-raising moments from husband Justin.

Just the day before, the pop star was seen shirtless during a bizarre outing in Beverly Hills. 

That followed an appearance with a controversial former child star who was once charged with a felony for immoral communication with a minor. 

And all of it came on the heels of another head-scratching moment, when Justin shared what many fans called a backhanded compliment about Hailey’s latest Vogue cover. 

Unbothered—or at least putting on a brave face—Hailey, 28, took to Instagram Stories on Thursday to share a sweet black-and-white photo of baby Jack sitting on the floor with his back to the camera.

‘My sweet baby is 9 months old today,’ she captioned the rare snap of their only child.

On Wednesday, Justin was spotted with That’s So Raven star Kyle Massey and his nepo baby fiancee Hana Giraldo, who is the daughter of Pat Benatar. 

Bieber and Massey are longtime pals and were first thrust into the spotlight together back in 2015 when the singer’s friend Lil Twist was sentenced to one year in jail for breaking into Massey’s apartment and robbing his brother Chris in November 2014.

Lil Twist pled no contest to six charges at the time.

In July 2021 Massey was charged with a felony for immoral communication with a minor over allegations he sent pornographic material to a 13-year-old girl.

Massey said in a statement through his attorney, Lee Hutton, at the time: ‘No child should ever be exposed to sexually explicit materials and I unequivocally and categorically deny any alleged misconduct.’ 

This came just days after a report from The Daily Beast brought to light even more allegations against the actor in which several women came forward claiming Massey’s behavior was part of a predatory pattern.

The publication spoke with several women who alleged that they had communicated with Massey while they were teenagers in high school over various social media apps including Snapchat and Instagram.

This criminal charge followed a civil lawsuit filed in March 2019, which sought $1.5 million in damages for similar allegations. The civil case was dropped in December 2019 after the plaintiff’s lawyer withdrew. 

Bieber’s outing comes after he deleted an awkward caption where he admitted he accused his wife Hailey of being ‘disrespectful’ and called for ‘more intimacy’ in their marriage, while he attempted to congratulate her for gracing the cover of Vogue.

The singer was lambasted by his followers for his original post, where he admitted he declared to Hailey during a heated argument that she would never make it onto Vogue’s front cover.

While his caption was meant to be humorous, with Justin quipping he was ‘clearly mistaken,’ many of his followers failed to see the funny side, and the comments section was flooded with criticism.

Following the backlash, Justin appeared to delete the caption from his post, replacing it with a shrugging emoji. 

The star sparked the huge frenzy when he posted a snap of Hailey’s Vogue cover, and admitted he cruelly told her she would never achieve the feat during a row.

‘Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight, I told hails that she would never be on the cover of vogue, Yikes I know, so mean, For some reason because I felt so disrespected I thought I gotta get even,’ he wrote. 

Justin continued: ‘Think as we mature we realize that we’re not helping anything by getting even, we’re honestly just prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection.’

He concluded his post by writing a message directly to Hailey, which read: ‘So baby u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn’t get a vogue cover cuz clearly i was sadly mistaken.’
