Sharon Osbourne has continued to spark concern amongst fans with her latest painfully thin appearance on Instagram.

The former X Factor judge, 72, who recently shared that using Ozempic has made it difficult for her to gain weight, took to social media to clarify the message of her husband Ozzy’s song, “War Pigs.”

Sharon appeared gaunt in the clip and wore a loose fitting blue sweater and cream trousers as she showed off her shrinking frame to fans.

In a video, she explained that the 1970 Black Sabbath track actually speaks out against war, rather than supporting it. The post was captioned: ‘Perception vs Reality’.

Fans expressed their worries in the comments, saying: ‘Sharon, I love you but you are way too thin’: ‘She looks ill poor thing’: ‘Please stop losing weight, you are beautiful. No more botox and fillers’: ‘Please go eat a cheeseburger’.

Sharon was among the first celebrities to publicly confirm using the diabetes drug Ozempic, after her dramatically slimmed-down appearance sparked widespread concern.

Though she was initially pleased with the results after starting the medication in December 2022, Osbourne later admitted she feared she had taken it too far—despite revealing last November that she had been off the drug for ‘a while.’

‘I can’t put on weight now, and I don’t know what it’s done to my metabolism, but I just can’t seem to put any on, because I think I went too far,’ she shared on Howie Mandel’s podcast.

Earlier, in February, she told The Guardian she had lost ‘three stone [42 pounds] in four months. Too much.’

Sharon recently told DailyMail.com that she hasn’t regained any of the weight she lost while taking the drug and admitted she’s been left feeling ‘frustrated’ by the lingering effects.

‘Now, I weigh just over 7st. I need to put on 10lb, but however much I eat, I stay the same weight,’ she said.

‘I’ve had enough. I’ve given up on all interventions. I couldn’t have much more facial surgery — there’s not that much skin left to stretch, pull or cut. And I won’t have any more fillers or Botox.

‘I don’t think I’ll ever be happy with the way I look. But I’m now satisfied. It’s taken years for me to say this but I’ve learned my lesson. This is me. It’s finally time to leave well alone.

After living much of her life in the spotlight, the TV personality has undergone a range of procedures over the years including a gastric band, full facelift, tummy tuck, an eyelift, breast implants, abdominoplasty and Botox.

In March 2024, Sharon shocked the public after she made her return to UK reality TV on Celebrity Big Brother, where she was reunited with former X Factor colleague Louis Walsh.

The star couldn’t hide her weight loss on the show as she revealed doctors ‘can’t figure out’ why she hasn’t been able to gain weight back after she stopped using Ozempic months ago.

‘The doctors can’t figure it out,’ she said. ‘But I think it’s just because I’m getting older and as you get older you lose weight anyway and shrink and shrivel off.’

As to why she turned to Ozempic, Sharon said ‘everyone was doing it’.

Sharon previously discussed her weight loss journey with actor Colson Smithwhile appearing on Celebrity Big Brother in 2024.

The X Factor legend, who has faced criticism over her slimmed down look after using the drug which is meant for diabetes, described her difficulty in losing weight using more conventional methods.

She said: ‘People who don’t have to worry about weight have no idea what it’s like. At one point I was 230lb. It’s a killer’.

Appearing on Loose Women earlier that year, Sharon admitted she was struggling to regain a healthy body weight since giving up the drug.

She said: ‘I don’t regret it. Everything with weight with me was, ‘I want it now.’ The injections that I was on worked, but it just seems that now I can’t put anything on really.

‘I lost over 40lbs, If I could I would put back another 10. I’m just an ordinary person who got lucky and I didn’t take advantage of that.

‘I never want to forget I am blessed and been really lucky in my life.’
