The much-anticipated 2026 Academy Awards have arrived, bringing with them the inevitable mix of fashion triumphs and missteps as top-tier celebrities grace the red carpet.

Regarded as the pinnacle of award ceremonies, this year’s Oscars unfold at the iconic Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, with the witty Conan O’Brien taking on the role of host.

The competition is set to be particularly intense, especially in the Best Actor in a Leading Role category.

Contenders include Timothee Chalamet for his performance in “Marty Supreme,” Leonardo DiCaprio in “One Battle After Another,” Ethan Hawke for “Blue Moon,” Michael B. Jordan in “Sinners,” and Wagner Moura for “The Secret Agent.”

In the Best Actress race, Kate Hudson is recognized for her role in “Song Sung Blue,” facing off against Rose Byrne in “If I Had Legs I’d Kick You,” Jessie Buckley for “Hamnet,” Renate Reinsve in “Sentimental Value,” and Emma Stone for “Bugonia.”

This year’s Best Picture nominations feature some of the most talked-about films, including “Sinners,” “Marty Supreme,” and “Bugonia.”
