A former Manhattan financier and his long-time personal assistant have been charged over claims he tortured dozens of women for sexual gratification.
Howard Rubin, aged 70, along with Jennifer Powers, who is 45, are charged with trafficking numerous women, whom Rubin allegedly sexually and physically assaulted in a penthouse converted into a sex dungeon on Billionaires’ Row.
The indictment, which spans 13 pages, accuses Rubin of enticing former Playboy models and other women into paid sexual encounters. It is alleged that between 2009 and 2019, he consistently misled these women about the nature of their meetings.
Rubin faces 10 criminal charges, including sex trafficking, facilitating transportation for prostitution, and bank fraud. On Friday, he entered a plea of not guilty in court.
He allegedly paid victims between $2,000 and $5,000 per session, depending on his ‘satisfaction’, the Wall Street Journal reported.
The 70-year-old allegedly tied up his victims, drugged and beat them without their consent.
Prosecutors allege some victims lost consciousness from his brutal beatings, and they were forced to sign non-disclosure agreements afterwards.

Howard Rubin, once a prominent financier in Manhattan, is accused of orchestrating a decade-long sex trafficking operation where he mistreated numerous women to fulfill his twisted BDSM fantasies.

Jennifer Powers, aged 45, is also implicated in the trafficking of women Rubin purportedly abused sexually and physically within a sex dungeon in a Central Park penthouse.
His former personal assistant is accused of playing a role in arranging the meetings and silencing the victims.
According to prosecutors, Powers played a role in setting up the dungeon. She reportedly detailed in an email to Rubin how she installed chains on a cross and a bed in the room.
One of the many vile text message exchanges between Rubin and Powers was revealed, the New York Post reported.
Rubin allegedly texted Powers about his graphic sexual encounter with a victim tied to a cross.
The dedicated accomplice, who worked for Rubin for almost 15 years, sent a revolting response, the feds charged.
‘I can only imagine what you did to her on that cross!!! Did you shock her p***y??’ Powers allegedly wrote.
The financier replied that he had and complained that his electrocution device was losing strength, according to court papers.
Many sex sessions occurred in lavish New York hotels but he later rented a penthouse apartment and turned one of the rooms into a sex dungeon.

Powers (pictured with husband Steve) was regularly kept in the loop about her boss’ escapades, prosecutors claim
The soundproofed room was painted red and covered in BDSM equipment, according to prosecutors.
Another sadistic text message, released by prosecutors, detailed Rubin’s alleged plans to engage in a threesome, telling one of the women he wanted to ‘abuse’ the other for hours, according to the NY Post.
Rubin allegedly wrote ‘I don’t care if she screams,’ with a laughing face emoji. ‘This is going to be fun!’
The woman told Rubin she was ready and he allegedly replied a mistype response that read “Ur not, bbut ur desperate and thts good.’
Prosecutors added the 70-year-old gave his victims a ‘safe word’ to stop the sex if it became too aggressive, but claimed Rubin would continue even if they said it.
Rubin was arrested Friday at his Connecticut home and is set to appear in Brooklyn court on Sept 26.
Powers was taken into custody in Texas. She will face court on Monday, Sept 29.
