Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are living in pre-marital bliss ahead of their highly anticipated wedding.

Even though the 37-year-old record producer proposed to the 32-year-old actress and singer back in December, Blanco—whose real name is Benjamin Joseph Levin—recently confessed that they have been slow to organize their wedding.

‘We’ve both been working so much,’ Blanco said during a podcast interview last week.

However, to the delight of fans, while the ceremony’s finer details are yet to be fully finalized, several sources have informed the Daily Mail that the couple is set to wed in a few weeks, with the location and guest list already determined!

‘Selena and Benny’s wedding is going to be a two-day event in Montecito in September,’ one insider exclusively confirmed.

The upscale area in Santa Barbara County, California, is home to Royals Meghan Markle and Prince Harry and is merely a short drive from Beverly Hills, where Gomez and Blanco own a $35 million Spanish-style estate.

It is understood that the ceremony will be attended by close friends and family only. Indeed, the invites have already been mailed.

‘Everyone invited has been asked to bring overnight bags to stay for the weekend,’ the insider continued. 

‘Although it’s for friends and family only, many on the friends list are huge celebrities including Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, Selena’s co-stars from Only Murders In The Building, and music superstars who are Benny’s friends and some he’s also worked with.’ 

Only Murders In The Building is a Hulu mystery/comedy series in which Gomez stars alongside the likes of big names like Steve Martin, Martin Short and Cara Delevingne.

Actors Meryl Streep, Eva Longoria, Zach Galifianakis and Eugene Levy have also starred in the most recent seasons.

A second insider with knowledge of the wedding plans indicated that a late summer ceremony was thought of as ideal for Gomez and Blanco. 

Come the fall and winter, the actress will be occupied by TV premieres and the busy awards season. It is thought that the anticipated fifth season of Only Murders In The Building will hit streaming in the latter half of this year.

‘Selena loves being engaged but she has been dreaming of being married forever,’ the second source told the Daily Mail. ‘At the end of the year it gets busy, not only for them, but also for everyone they want to attend.’

At the top of the star-studded guest list is Gomez’s close friend of almost 20 years, singing megastar Taylor Swift.

But with Swift having a busy schedule of her own, it has been something of a challenge working around the 35-year-old pop star’s demanding itinerary.

‘Selena is not having her wedding to accommodate Taylor, but she wants her to attend and she would love for her to be able to go with Travis,’ a third insider told the Daily Mail.

Gomez and Swift – who met back in 2008 when they both dating members of the Jonas Brothers band – most recently reunited for dinner in New York City at the end of May. They shared cocktails at the famed celebrity haunt Monkey Bar in Manhattan.

In one candid snap – caught by fellow diners – Swift’s mouth could be seen hanging open in shock at something Gomez had said. 

The day before the dinner, the billionaire songstress had announced to fans that she had rebought the rights to her musical masters in a deal worth an estimated $360 million.

‘Yes you did that Tay! So proud!’ Gomez – also a billionaire, thanks to her lucrative Rare Beauty cosmetics brand – wrote on Instagram.

The singer has made only a few public appearances with her NFL boyfriend Travis Kelce this year, most recently in New York City on June 28

Gomez and Blanco confirmed their relationship to the world in December 2023, revealing that they had already been dating for six months.

A year later, Blanco popped the question with a massive diamond engagement ring worth an estimated $1 million.

And, like his fiancée, Blanco has a link to pop star Justin Bieber.

Gomez and Bieber enjoyed an on-off relationship with Bieber from 2010 to 2018. For his part, and before dating Gomez, Blanco maintained a friendship with Bieber and produced several of his biggest hits, including ‘Love Yourself’, ‘Cold Water’ and ‘Lonely’.

It is not thought likely that Bieber, 31, or his wife Hailey, will attend the September wedding.
