RICHMOND, Va. (WJHL) — Republican Will Morefield has once again clinched victory, ensuring his continued representation in the Virginia House of Delegates.

In Tuesday night’s election, Morefield emerged victorious over Democrat Mary Sumner in the race for House District 43.

Morefield’s tenure in the Virginia House dates back to 2010, marking a long-standing presence in state politics.

House District 43 includes the counties of Bland, Buchanan, and Tazewell, as well as portions of Dickenson and Russell counties.
