Jack Grealish celebrated his 30th birthday in his characteristic extravagant fashion by organizing a secret ‘Grealfields’ festival alongside his long-time girlfriend Sasha Attwood and their baby daughter Mila.

The Everton loanee and England star, who secured a loan move from Manchester City to Merseyside last month, managed to host the celebration after being excluded from Thomas Tuchel’s latest international squad.

The winger had earlier treated himself to a seven-hour pub crawl in Sweden during the break before flying back to set up his birthday celebration.

Sasha Attwood expressed her love with the message ‘Happy birthday we love you’ displayed on an image featuring her in an animal-print dress and boots, while Grealish was dressed in double-denim paired with white trainers.

Additional photos highlighted the grandeur of the event. Guests received VIP lanyards with the phrase ‘Grealfields – Jack’s 30th Birthday.’ A festival-style tent was converted into a nightclub featuring giant LED screens flashing his name, accompanied by disco balls and a DJ booth. Grealish was also seen blowing out the candles on a towering cake surrounded by friends.

This concluded an unforgettable week for the former Aston Villa captain, who has had a noteworthy beginning at Everton after his form dipped under Pep Guardiola at City.

He has four assists in his opening three Premier League matches and has already been shortlisted for the player of the month award.

His impressive performance on the field seems to have reignited his enthusiasm for the sport. According to The Sun, Grealish spent seven hours at Stockholm’s Irish bar The Auld Dub during the international break, engaging with locals and watching Liverpool’s 1-0 victory over Arsenal before departing.

Wayne Rooney, who played for Everton and Manchester United and was a guest at the bash, said on his BBC podcast that Grealish was rediscovering his love for football.

‘It was a good night, a really good night,’ he said of the party, declining to reveal details of the guest list. ‘Do you know what, Jack’s a really kind-hearted person and I don’t think that comes across as much as it probably should.

He’s got a big heart, he’s very respectful, and I think not playing at Manchester City, it was very difficult for him; I know it was. But going to Everton, he’s at a club where he’s going to get the time and space to enjoy his football and he’s started very well and hopefully that continues.’

The former England star declined to reveal the guest list or any stories from the celebration.

Grealish and Attwood, who have been together since school, welcomed Mila Rose Grealish last September. The birth was announced on Instagram by the Manchester-born winger with Attwood calling it ‘the most special moment of my life’.

Despite his joy at becoming a father, 2024 was a difficult year on the pitch. He spent long spells on the bench and narrowly missed out on a place in England’s Euro squad.

The move to the Toffees represents a fresh start, and Everton boss David Moyes has already hailed the 30-year-old’s attitude and performances, saying after the win at Wolves:

‘It’s nothing to do with me, let me tell you, it’s all to do with Jack and his own mentality to be better. I think some of his football has been really good. The biggest compliment I can probably give him is he’s better than I thought he was.’

Off the pitch Grealish’s earning power shows no sign of slowing. He earns £300,000 a week with City subsidising his Everton deal and has racked up almost £15million in image rights through endorsements with Pepsi, Gucci, Puma, Bose and even Hellman’s mayonnaise.
