BRISTOL, Va. (WJHL) — On Thanksgiving Day, a house fire in Bristol, Virginia was traced back to a candle placed too close to flammable materials, according to Fire Chief Mike Armstrong. The Bristol, Va. Fire Department (BVFD) reported that their teams responded to the incident on the 300 block of Texas Avenue, highlighting the importance of candle safety, especially during festive seasons.
