A federal grand jury has charged three women for allegedly illegal doxing of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent last month, as announced by the Department of Justice (DOJ) on Friday.

The women, two from Southern California and one from Colorado, reportedly followed the ICE agent to their home, broadcasted the event live, and posted the officer’s home address on Instagram.

Cynthia Raygoza, 37, from Riverside, Calif.; Ashleigh Brown, 38, from Aurora, Colo.; and Sandra Carmona Samane, 25, from Panorama City, Calif., face charges of conspiracy and public disclosure of a federal agent’s personal information, as revealed in the indictment unsealed on Friday.

“Our dedicated federal agents risk their lives daily to protect our country,” stated Acting U.S. Attorney of the Central District of California, Bill Essayli. “The actions of these defendants are profoundly disrespectful to law enforcement and their families. If you threaten, dox, or harm any of our agents or employees, you will be prosecuted and face imprisonment.”

Samane and Brown have been apprehended on federal criminal complaints. Brown remains in custody without bail, whereas Samane is released on a $5,000 bond, according to the DOJ. The search continues for Raygoza.

This indictment occurs amid ICE’s nationwide operations facing strong opposition from activists and Democrats. Recently, the Trump administration has pledged to take a hard stance against those engaging in violence or interfering with federal immigration officials’ duties.

Late Friday, Attorney General Pam Bondi announced the Justice Department will deploy federal agents to ICE facilities and  “wherever” federal immigration officers come “under siege.”

The women allegedly followed the ICE agent from the Civic Center district in Los Angeles to his home on Aug. 28, according to the indictment.

The defendants livestreamed their pursuit on Instagram and were giving directions to the ICE agent’s home. When they got to the officer’s home, the women shouted to bystanders during the Instagram livestream that their “neighbor is ICE,” “la migra lives here,” and “ICE lives on your street and you should know,” prosecutors said in the indictment.

If convicted, the three women could face up to five years in prison for each count, the DOJ said.
