In a dramatic turn of events, Hillary Clinton abruptly exited her deposition related to Jeffrey Epstein when she discovered that a lawmaker had secretly taken her photo.

“I’m done with this,” Clinton declared, reacting to her lawyer’s revelation to the House Oversight Committee that the image was circulating online.

Expressing her frustration, she added, “If you guys are doing that, I am done. You can hold me in contempt from now until the cows come home. This is just typical behavior.”

Amidst the tension, Republican representative Lauren Boebert admitted, with a sense of urgency, that she had taken the photograph before the hearing officially started and assured Clinton, “I will take that down.”

Clinton responded firmly, “It doesn’t matter, we all are abiding by the same rules,” while pounding her fist on the table and pointing at Boebert.

With tensions high, the former secretary of state stood up and left the room, prompting an immediate cut to the cameras. The proceedings resumed about an hour later.

It is strictly prohibited for lawmakers or witnesses to take pictures inside a closed-door congressional testimony. 

The House Oversight Committee released the deposition video on Monday after Hillary’s explosive testimony last Thursday. She and her husband Bill Clinton were dragged to a performing arts center near their home in Chappaqua, New York, to answer questions over their relationship with Epstein.

Hillary told the committee repeatedly that she did not know Epstein and had only met her co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell on a few occasions, directing many of their questions to her husband.

‘I do not recall ever meeting Jeffrey Epstein,’ she told lawmakers under oath.

Hillary said that ahead of the hearing she was informed that Epstein had attended an event organized by the White House Historical Association.

‘That’s the only time that I’m aware of that I might have possibly been in the same room with him,’ Hillary said.

‘We had hundreds and thousands of people who came to the White House. I was not informed of what people did or didn’t do for work, especially someone that I never even uh had a conversation with,’ she said.  

Hillary was grilled about receiving a $20,000 donation from the disgraced pedophile in 1999 when she was fundraising for the DNC. 

She said that she had been informed of this in preparation for her hearing, and the way that campaign donations were structured meant it was unlikely she would have been aware at the time.

Maxwell attended Chelsea Clinton’s wedding in New York in 2010. The Clintons previously stated that she was there as a plus one. 

She told the committee that she had met Maxwell a few times but that she ‘didn’t see her very often.’
