Hunter Biden, the son of former president Joe Biden, vehemently responded to a legal warning from First Lady Melania Trump by releasing a video filled with expletives on YouTube. This came after Melania Trump demanded an apology and retraction from Hunter.
Hunter falsely claimed that Melania Trump was introduced to President Donald Trump by Jeffrey Epstein, who was a convicted sex offender and pedophile. He based this claim on a report from the Daily Beast, which sourced its information from author Michael Wolff.
Although the Daily Beast later retracted the report and issued an apology, Hunter repeated the allegation during an interview on the Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan podcast.
“They knew each other well, they spent an enormous amount of time together,” Hunter stated, referring to Donald Trump and Epstein. “According to his biographer, Jeffrey Epstein introduced Melania, that’s how Melania… the first lady and the president met.”
Mrs. Trump’s lawyer warned that they would sue Hunter Biden for $1 billion unless he “immediately retracts the false, defamatory, disparaging, and inflammatory statements made about Mrs. Trump.”
But Hunter Biden was not interested in an apology, sharing his public reaction on Callaghans show.
‘Fu*k that. That’s not going to happen,’ Biden replied, after Callaghan showed him a copy of the letter.
The logo on Hunter Biden’s hat featured a logo with three arrows inside a circle.
The emblem resembles that of the Iron Front, a resistance movement against the Nazi party during World War II in Germany. This symbol has been embraced by anti-Trump groups such as Antifa.

Hunter Biden defended his comments, citing reporting from Wolff’s book, and a 2019 story from the New York Times that reported Epstein was ‘claiming to people that he was the one who introduced Mr. Trump to his third wife, Melania Trump.’
In a letter addressed to Biden and his longtime lawyer Abbe Lowell, the first lady’s lawyer Alejandro Brito called Biden’s comments ‘false, defamatory, and lewd.’
‘Given your vast history of trading on the names of others-including your surname-for your personal benefit, it is obvious that you published these false and defamatory statements about Mrs. Trump to draw attention to yourself,’ Brito wrote in a letter, first obtained by Fox News Digital.
The letter was dated August 6 and gave the younger Biden until August 7 to comply.
Biden defied the lawsuit threat and vowed to take the Trumps to court, even as he estimated the lawsuit would probably cost ‘millions’ of dollars.
‘If they want to go through the process, then they know it’s going to cost them an enormous amount of money to do it,’ Biden said. ‘We gotta figure out how we’re going to pay for it.’
The specific episode of Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan in question remains on YouTube with 1.3 million views.
‘These false, disparaging, defamatory, and inflammatory statements are extremely salacious and have been widely disseminated throughout various digital mediums,’ the first lady’s attorney said.
‘Indeed, the Video has since been re-published by various media outlets, journalists, and political commentators with millions of social media followers that have disseminated the false and defamatory statements therein to tens of millions of people worldwide,’ he continued.
‘Consequently, you have caused Mrs. Trump to suffer overwhelming financial and reputational harm,’ Brito added.
The lawyer asked Biden to ‘immediately issue a full and fair retraction of the video.’
The former first son must also ‘immediately issue an apology for the false, defamatory, disparaging, misleading, and inflammatory statements about Mrs. Trump,’ Brito said.
Six days have passed since Brito’s deadline.

‘You are on notice,’ Brito concluded in his letter.
East Wing spokesperson Nick Clemens added: ‘First Lady Melania Trump’s attorneys are actively ensuring immediate retractions and apologies by those who spread malicious, defamatory falsehoods.’
‘The true account of how the First Lady met President Trump is in her best-selling book, “Melania,”‘ he added in a statement to the Daily Mail.
