A second man is in custody stemming from a San Antonio mass shooting that left a home riddled with bullets and a young girl dead.
Bryan Salazar, aged 20, has been arrested and faces charges including capital murder, child injury, aggravated assault stemming from a mass shooting, along with drug and gun-related offenses, as per the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities stated that on May 8, 2024, a 4-year-old girl named Maryann Marble was tragically killed when the suspects opened fire with an AK-47 style weapon. In addition, several occupants of the house were shot and injured during this incident.

That outlet said that Crimestoppers tips and data analysis from Salazar’s phone led police to him.
Revenge was the motive, according to Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar.
Xavier Perez, also 20 years old and reportedly a relative of Bryan Salazar, was killed two weeks before the attack on Marble’s residence. It was at this point that Salazar began planning the assault, according to the sheriff.
The pair allegedly stole an Infiniti Q50, which was used during the attack.
“This was a calculated act,” the sheriff said. “They stole the car, they conducted surveillance, and then carried out the shooting.”

The investigation remains underway and police have a third person of interest.
“This case is significant,” the sheriff remarked. “Our investigators have done an excellent job in pursuing leads, but there is always more information available. We urge anyone with knowledge to come forward.”
