Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan's divorce settlement details revealed

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan’s divorce settlement details have emerged following a recent court filing.

On Wednesday, November 26, court documents revealed how Tatum, 45, and Dewan, 44, decided to divide their retirement assets as part of their divorce agreement.

According to information obtained by the Daily Mail, Dewan will receive half of Tatum’s Screen Actors Guild producers’ pension plan for earnings accrued during their marriage, which spanned from 2009 to 2018.

Conversely, Tatum will receive an identical share of Dewan’s SAG producers’ pension plan for that same timeframe.

This arrangement settles a dispute between the former couple involving Tatum’s successful 2012 film, Magic Mike, from which Dewan claimed she was entitled to a portion of his profits.

The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for both actors for comments, but no responses have been received yet.

The former couple reached a settlement on their divorce back in September 2024, but the details have only been publicly revealed in the recent court filing.

Tatum and Dewan’s relationship dated back to their 2006 box office hit Step Up, in which they played the leads.

The couple tied the knot in 2009, and they later welcomed a daughter, Everly, in 2013.

But the marriage came to an end in April 2018 when Tatum and Dewan announced that they were going their separate ways.

In October of that year, Dewan filed for divorce, and the two were declared legally single in November 2019.

However, the divorce fight dragged on for years to come, with Tatum’s profits from Magic Mike being a major sticking point.

The actor played the title role and was a producer on the film, which was directed by Steven Soderbergh and costarred Matthew McConaughey, Olivia Munn and Joe Manganiello.

The film was made for a startlingly small budget of just $7 million, but it went on to become a hit with critics and audiences alike, ultimately grossing over $167 million, according to Box Office Mojo.

Dewan contended in court that she was owed half of her ex-husband’s profits on the film, as she claimed that it had been financed with their marital funds, though Tatum’s legal team disputed that conclusion.

Prior to reaching a settlement, Dewan had accused her ex-husband’s legal team of failing to turn over all information related to the financing of Magic Mike, according to Us Weekly.

The conflict threatened to explode after Soderbergh and Dewan’s fiancé, stage star Steve Kazee, were both considered as potential witnesses in court.

Tatum accused his ex-wife of attempting to delay the divorce negotiations in August 2024, saying in court filings that he had made ‘exhaustive efforts to settle all issues in this matter without litigation.’

‘I have made countless settlement proposals, attended multiple mediations, my attorneys have prepared numerous drafts of proposed judgments, and I have tried to resolve issues with [Dewan],’ he said at the time, according to Page Six.

‘While we have resolved some issues, the most significant financial issues in the case remain unresolved because [Dewan] continues to delay resolution and provides one reason after another for why this case cannot settle,’ Tatum added.

He also said in court filings that he did not believe Dewan was owed spousal support.

Tatum’s monster hit Magic Mike went on to spawn a similarly successful sequel, 2015’s Magic Mike XXL, which Tatum also produced and starred in.

A third and final film, Magic Mike’s Last Dance, arrived in 2023, years after Tatum’s divorce, but it received mixed reviews and underperformed.

In addition to the three films in the series, a Las Vegas stage show was also created based on the Magic Mike franchise, as well as a reality series.

Dewan has been in a relationship with Steve Kazee since late 2018, and they got engaged in February 2020. The couple welcomed a son, Callum, in March 2020, and Jenna went on to give birth to their second child, daughter Rhiannon, in June 2024.

Following their divorce, Tatum moved on with the English singer Jessie J, whom he dated from 2018 to 2020.

In 2021, he and Zoë Kravitz began dating, and the couple got engaged two years later.

Tatum went on to play a mysterious billionaire in Kravitz’s directorial debut, the psychological thriller Blink Twice, but the couple ended their engagement and split the same year.

Tatum has most recently been dating the model Inka Williams.
