Tiger Woods and his longtime companion, Vanessa Trump, remain closely bonded following his recent legal troubles. Sources reveal that the couple’s relationship is holding strong in the wake of Woods’ alleged DUI incident.
The golf legend, aged 50, encountered legal issues on March 27 when he was arrested for flipping his SUV on Jupiter Island, Florida. Despite this setback, Vanessa, 48, continues to support him, according to a source, who shared insights with People.
The insider mentioned that Woods has become particularly close with her children during this time. “She’s not leaving him,” the source disclosed to People. “They’re very close as a family, and he’s especially bonded with Kai.”
Vanessa shares five children with her former spouse, Donald Trump Jr., whom she was married to from 2005 to 2018. Their children include Kai, 18, Donald III, 17, Tristan, 14, Spencer, 13, and Chloe, 11.
As the situation unfolds, the source remains optimistic. “Things will settle down,” they assured. “[Vanessa’s] handling it well, choosing to stay out of the limelight for now.”
Vanessa posted a picture with Woods on an Instagram story shortly after his arrest, with the caption ‘love you,’ reported Fox Digital.
‘Things will settle down,’ the source said. ‘[Vanessa’s] handling it well and just not saying much.’
Kai has a burgeoning golf career and an impressive platform as an influencer. She and Vanessa were seen cheering Woods on at a tournament just days before the accident.

Body camera footage from the scene allegedly showed Woods telling the responding officers that he was ‘just talking to the president.’
Woods has a years-long friendship with President Trump. In 2019, Trump awarded him the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Trump told the New York Post days after the crash that Woods ‘is under a tremendous physical pressure from his various ailments, you know, the back and the leg.’

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office allegedly found two hydrocodone pills in his pocket during the accident.
‘On scene, we had [Drug Recognition] experts evaluating him and they believed from on scene that he was not impaired with alcohol, but they believe it was some type of medication or drug,’ police said.
Per the affidavit, Woods told police he ‘had seven back surgeries and over 20 operations on his leg,’ which required him to take prescription medication.
After clambering out of the car, a ‘lethargic’ Woods agreed to take a breathalyzer at the scene – with the Sheriff’s Office confirming that he showed ‘triple zeros’ – but he then refused to provide a urine sample.
He was booked in the Martin County Jail for at least eight hours.
The crash occurred in a 30 mph zone when Woods – who was traveling at ‘high speed’ – attempted to overtake a truck that was pulling a pressure-washing device, according to the cops.
