Jennifer Aniston may have just made things Instagram official with her boyfriend Jim Curtis.

On Sunday, the Friends star, 56, posted a carousel of photos recapping her summer, but it was the penultimate shot that sent fans into a frenzy.

Nestled between pictures of beach walks and gym sessions was a candid snap of a man taken from behind, looking out over a glowing ocean sunset. 

In just a few minutes, Aniston’s followers became certain that the mysterious individual seen in a brief shot is her new romantic partner, marking the first time she has featured him on her social media account.

In the comments, fans were quick to catch on. One wrote simply: ‘The soft launch.’

Another gushed: ‘Yassss the post we were waiting for!!!’

Others were even more direct, with one fan demanding: ‘Who’s in the 17th pic, Jen???’ and a fourth asking, ‘Now who is pic 17’s shoulder?’

Fueling the speculation further, Aniston tagged all her friends shown in the slideshow, such as Adam Sandler, Jason Bateman, Courteney Cox, Sean Hayes, and her long-time hairstylist Chris McMillan, but conspicuously left this person untagged.

A black-and-white snap captured her pointing up dramatically at the moon, surrounded by two friends.

Her beloved dogs also made a few appearance and a scenic shot of her walking arm-in-arm with friends down a street.

While the actress has yet to confirm the relationship outright, she and Curtis have been at the center of romance rumors since July.

The quick appearance of the mystery figure led followers to believe this is her new partner, with this being the initial instance she’s posted about him on her platform.

In July, Aniston and Curtis were spotted on a yacht as they vacationed together in Mallorca, Spain, with Bateman, his wife, and other friends.

“They are inseparable and always together, and if they have to be apart, they’re constantly on the phone. Their relationship is incredibly passionate,” a source revealed to the Daily Mail in late August.

The insider also mentioned, “What’s remarkable is how well they connect due to their shared passions for meditation, yoga, therapy, and dogs.”

Curtis is a life coach and love ‘guru,’ and he describes himself as a ‘transformational coach and hypnotherapist.’

This omission added to the conjecture, as Aniston tagged nearly all her other friends featured in the slideshow, like Jason Bateman and Courteney Cox, except this individual.

Aniston has been following him on social media for nearly two years.

She was previously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005, and later to Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2017.

In August 2023, she opened up about the long-term effect her parents’ bitter 1980 divorce had on her love life.

Speaking with WSJ. Magazine, she admitted that her ‘difficult’ childhood experiences didn’t leave her desperate to say ‘I do.’

‘It was always a little bit difficult for me in relationships, I think, because I really was kind of alone,’ she explained.

She admitted it felt ‘easier’ to be alone.

‘I didn’t like the idea of sacrificing who you were or what you needed, so I didn’t really know how to do that,’ she said, before adding, ‘So it was almost easier to just be kind of solo. So I didn’t have any real training in that give-and-take.’
