The actress, 44, who celebrated her single status in a bikini, seemed somewhat distraught as she spoke with a friend at the ceremony in Los Angeles.
The Trigger Warning star looked casually chic in a cream toned jacket and crop top over a pair of straight leg jeans.
Her long, dark blonde hair was styled straight and she wore natural-looking makeup.
The L.A.’s Finest star accessorized with large hoop earrings and three stacked necklaces.
The event was to celebrate Alba’s daughter Haven, 13, and her classmates successfully completing middle school.

The Fantastic Four star was accompanied by her estranged husband, Cash Warren, 46, who appeared at ease wearing tan chinos paired with a blue and white golf shirt and sneakers.
Her elder daughter, Honor, 16, looked charming in a flowing red and white dress. The teen’s long, dark hair was styled into braids that gracefully hung down her back.
Alba was spotted arriving with her son, Hayes, seven, who looked cute in a navy blue sweater layered over a white collared shirt, with jeans, sneakers, and a white-billed cap.
Alba and Warren announced their separation on January 16, and Alba formally filed for divorce in February, citing irreconcilable differences.
‘I’ve been on a journey of self-realization and transformation for years – both as an individual and in partnership with Cash,’ the El Camino Christmas star explained as she announced the split on social media.
‘I’m proud of how we’ve grown as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.’
A source who spoke to Life & Style said the former couple, who tied the knot in a courthouse ceremony in 2008, are trying to keep their kids lives as normal as possible amid the big life change.
The insider indicated they may follow the lead of former spouses Demi Moore and Bruce Willis and former partners Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk by taking family vacations together.

Alba and Warren have listed their Beverly Hills home for $19 million and Warren reportedly has been checking out high-end real estate for his new digs.
‘As much as Jessica is embracing change for herself, she’s still very concerned about maintaining as much of the status quo for her kids as she can. Doing holidays with Cash feels like an important tradition to try to maintain,’ they explained.
‘Hayes is only 7, he wants both his parents there when he does his Easter egg hunt. Honor and Haven are teenagers but it’s still important for Jess that they feel they have some semblance of a family.’
The Meet the Keswanis producer was spotted leaving an open house at a six-bedroom dwelling in the Sherman Oaks area recently. The property is listed as costing $6.5 million.
Alba has not been sitting on her laurels since her exit from the Honest Company in 2024.
