Jessica Simpson demonstrated the ongoing nature of her reunion with estranged husband Eric Johnson when they were seen together again at a concert on Friday night.

The 45-year-old Dukes Of Hazzard star was among the audience at her sister Ashlee Simpson’s performance at the Voltaire club in Las Vegas’ Venetian Resort.

Footage acquired by TMZ showed Jessica and her 45-year-old estranged husband enjoying time with friends near the back of the audience.

Recently, the pair were also seen sharing what seemed like a tense moment on a flight from Burbank, California, heading to Las Vegas.

Interestingly, during this trip, the couple, who publicly announced their separation in January, traveled without their three children.

In videos showing Jessica and Eric, she can be seen speaking to an older woman, while her ex stands next to her and chats up another woman. 

Despite the apparent awkwardness between the two on the flight to Vegas, they appeared to be almost tethered to each other at the show, as the former San Francisco 49ers tight end was recorded stopping his conversation and following Jessica after she started to walk to another part of the club at the end of the clip. 

The two had gravitated farther apart in another fan-shot video circulating on social media, which showed Jessica talking with a fan while Eric was separated from her by several people in the crowd. 

There didn’t appear to be an obvious PDA in the clips circulating online, but the estranged couple also seemed surprisingly at ease with each other once the show began. 

One TikTok video showing Ashlee singing at the end of the runway featured her husband Evan Ross briefly stepping on stage to get a sweet kiss from the one-time hitmaker.

Jessica can be seen at the front of the crowd standing next to their mother, Tina Ann Simpson, but Eric isn’t in their immediate vicinity.

However, as the camera pans to the left, he can be briefly spotted standing several feet away in his Georgia Institute of Technology baseball cap — which he wore on the plane ride to Vegas — while bobbing his head to the music.

The latest reunion between Jessica and Eric has left fans wondering if the two may have reconciled seven months after they announced their separation.

There definitely seemed to be some tenseness despite the reunion when they were seen on their flight departing from Burbank earlier in the day.

Jessica looked noticeably on edge as she said something to Eric from the while he looked away.

The two were on a Southwest Airlines jet, and they appeared to have chosen to sit with an empty seat between them thanks to Southwest’s popular open-seating policy, which the airline will be ending in January as it attempts to extract more money from its customers.

However, it wasn’t clear if they were simply hoping no one would claim the empty seat or if they had purchased a third seat as a divider. 

It seemed to be quite the intimate affair between the two, as their children were nowhere to be found near them.

When they arrived in Las Vegas, they were asked at the airport whether they had gotten back together.

However, both kept mum on the subject, and Jessica instead explained that they were in town to see her sister Ashlee perform, via TMZ. 

Daily Mail has reached out to reps for Jessica and has yet to hear back. 

The two have been seen together since they announced their split in January of this year, but this is the first time they have been seen without their children which leads to some serious questions about their relationship status. 

Jessica was dressed for comfort on the flight as she sported a bright red sweat suit complete with long-sleeved crewneck top and flared bottoms.

She strutted her stuff in a pair of black platform heels while lugging along a massive black leather bag with silver metal hardware.

The singer accessorized with a pair of massive gold hoop earrings.

Her signature blonde locks were worn down as they flowed over her shoulders as she donned dramatic make-up including smokey eye.

Eric kept his look simple in a T-shirt, jeans, Nike sneakers, and Georgia Tech baseball cap.

This came just a month after she opened up about dating after her dramatic split with husband Eric.

The  singer – who recently looked unrecognizable – was seen arriving for a departing flight out of LAX Airport in Los Angeles last month.

As she has been open about her split with estranged husband Eric amid their divorce and swirling cheating rumors, there has been plenty of intrigue if she is back in the dating pool yet.

At the time, Jessica was asked if she was ready to move on romantically to which she replied: ‘It’s a rough road in the dating world.’

She remained mum on whether she has actively tried to put herself out there but she is not ready for online dating.

Jessica explained: ‘I mean I’m not getting on the apps yet.’

The Irresistible hitmaker was asked if it had to be a dating app or if she would be open to being set up by a friend.

The mother-of-three said: ‘I would love for a friend to set me up. Are you kidding me?’

She and Eric, 45, announced their split in January after nearly 11 years of marriage and three children together, and Simpson has since hinted at infidelity on Johnson’s part in her fiery comeback track Leave.

In early April, the I Wanna Love You Forever singer and the former NFL star were spotted reuniting with their daughters Maxwell, 12, and Birdie, five, and son Ace, 11 — along with what looked like Eric’s parents — signaling the two are working to co-parent despite the drama.

In May, a source revealed that Jessica and Eric are on surprisingly good terms.

‘They are getting along well and everyone seems to be very happy,’ the insider shared with USWeekly on Thursday. 

‘They talk and see each other all the time and have decided that no matter what happens, they will get along for the kids.’

Despite the fact that neither has filed official divorce papers yet, the source made one thing clear: ‘Right now there is no talk of getting back together.’ 

But they didn’t shut the door entirely, teasing, ‘With Jessica and Eric, you never know.’

‘They love each other and will always be supportive of one another,’ the insider added. ‘

‘For now, Jessica and Eric will be at a lot of holidays and birthdays together and just navigating their new truth.’

Simpson — who once famously called Eric her ‘sexual shaman’ — came back swinging with Leave, a track dripping with breakup venom. 

The lyrics pull no punches: ‘What we had was magic / Now you’ve made it tragic / Giving her what you gave to me / Now the well that you drank from is empty.’

She digs even deeper, singing: ‘Your weakness made me lonely / Unholy matrimony / Did you do to her what you did to me? Was she on her knees? / She’s everything but me.’

And she lands the final blow: ‘I want you to leave / I don’t even wanna breathe the air you breathe / I am stronger on my own / So hold on / I’m letting you go.’

In April, Jessica opened up onstage at the Luck Reunion about confronting Eric just before things fell apart, saying her world ‘turned upside down’ after she followed her gut and asked ‘some very personal questions on the home front.’

These days, Simpson is embracing her single status, telling fans she’s a ‘very single lady.’

While their split may feel sudden to the public, whispers of trouble began as early as November 2024 when Jessica teased her new music on Instagram, writing, ‘This comeback is personal, it’s an apology to myself for putting up with everything I did not deserve..’

Simpson was previously married to 98 Degrees frontman Nick Lachey from 2002 to 2006, a relationship immortalized on their reality show Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica.
