Following intense criticism for harshly speaking to his wife Hailey Bieber after her Vogue cover appearance, Justin Bieber is now facing public scrutiny again – this time for his hairline.
A recent photo at the beach allegedly shows the pop star with a bald spot on his head at age 31, igniting spirited conversations on X, previously known as Twitter.
While some Gen Z users are taken aback by the apparent balding of the Baby singer, formerly adored for his thick hair and iconic swooping fringe during his teen years, many others are supportive of his seeming hair loss.
‘Justin Bieber balding at 31 years is insane,’ the astonished user wrote, alongside pictures of the artist.
‘Crazy how time flies – feels like Baby just dropped and now he’s balding at 31!’ another shared.
One critic added: ‘Not good. Biebs used to have a full head of hair!!!’
However, some committed fans leapt to his defense, writing: ‘Usually it’s like 26. He made it longer than most.’
‘Teenagers discovering that grown adults experience body changes as they age will never not be funny to me,’ added another.

After receiving severe backlash for cruelly berating wife Hailey Bieber after she appeared on the cover of Vogue, Justin Bieber is now under scrutiny – this time for his hairline
Another agreed, writing: ‘Balding at 31 is probably the most normal thing in the history of humanity.’
The photos are being recirculated on social media as public opinion of Justin appears to shift in light of his recent comments.
The star sparked the huge frenzy earlier in the week when he posted a snap of Hailey’s Vogue cover to Instagram, admitting he cruelly told her she would never achieve her dream of appearing on the cover during an argument.
‘Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight, I told hails that she would never be on the cover of vogue, yikes I know, so mean, For some reason because I felt so disrespected I thought I gotta get even,’ he wrote in the now-edited caption.
Bieber continued: ‘Think as we mature we realize that we’re not helping anything by getting even, we’re honestly just prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection.’
He concluded his post by writing a message directly to Hailey, which read: ‘So baby you already know but forgive me for saying you wouldn’t get a Vogue cover cuz clearly i was sadly mistaken.’
Many saw Bieber’s caption as a backhanded compliment and something ‘so unnecessary’ to share with his followers.
He went on to delete the caption, with many of his followers failed to see the funny side, and the comments section was flooded with criticism.

Hailey welcomed her only child with Bieber in August 2024, but experienced some ‘scary’ complications during the birth.
Despite prepping for nine months in which she exercised, worked on her pelvic floor and felt ‘physically stronger’ than ever before, the model found herself going through a very tough labor, with the stunner admitting in a candid new interview that giving birth was ‘the hardest thing I’ve ever done’.
Speaking for the first time about the birth, the 28-year-old told Vogue: ‘That s**t was so crazy. That was not fun. They broke my water. I went into labor and I labored for a few hours. No epidural, nothing.’
The mom-of-one began leaking amniotic fluid at 39 weeks and had to be induced, with the star given medication to bring on contractions while a special balloon was placed inside her uterus to help dilate her.
However, while she eventually welcomed her boy after 18 hours, her troubles continued as she then experienced a postpartum hemorrhage, with Bieber sadly admitting that the thought had crossed her mind that she wouldn’t survive the ordeal.
On the fact that death could be a result of this complication if not treated quickly, which she told was ‘a little bit scary.’
She also admitted she’s had to adjust to her postpartum figure, admitting that she had to ‘give herself some grace’ over her body not ‘bouncing back’.
Fans have expressed concern for the couple due to their stony-faced public appearances, and Baldwin’s famous friends have allegedly urged her to leave the singer due to his ‘unacceptable’ behavior.
Addressing the difficulty, she shared: ‘Being postpartum is the most sensitive time I’ve ever gone through in my life, and learning a new version of myself is very difficult… And to be doing that all the while going on the internet every day and people being like, ‘They’re getting divorced’ and ‘They’re this’ and ‘They’re not happy’: It is such a mindf**k. I cannot even begin to explain it. It’s a crazy life to live.’
